This post was amazing and very helpful. I love all your ideas, plus your wedding looked beautiful! My wedding is also at the Grand Rose Hall in May. And I have yet to do any planning! I'm still attempting to figure out this destination wedding planning and I'm hoping you can clear a few things up for me ( of course as your time permits). As far as the reception goes, do you do the planning (color, chair covers/sashes, music) now via phone to the resort. Or is this something you do once you arrive at the resort. I suppose I'm trying to figure out how the timing of the planning process should occur and how much actual planning I should be doing before we get down there. Thanks in advance!
