We're getting married May 17th. Definitely looking forward to it. 5 months away and tons of planning to do. Unsure what I can plan without being down there.

Hi all! My wedding is May 17th, about 6 months away and I have yet to start planning. I have recently started looking into the details. One of my concerns current is hair/make-up. I'm debating between the spa and an outside vendor, Rashel Edwards. I'm wondering if anyone has used either service and their thoughts. Thanks!!

This post was amazing and very helpful. I love all your ideas, plus your wedding looked beautiful! My wedding is also at the Grand Rose Hall in May. And I have yet to do any planning! I'm still attempting to figure out this destination wedding planning and I'm hoping you can clear a few things up for me ( of course as your time permits). As far as the reception goes, do you do the planning (color, chair covers/sashes, music) now via phone to the resort. Or is this something you do once you arrive at the resort. I suppose I'm trying to figure out how the timing of the planning process should occur and how much actual planning I should be doing before we get down there. Thanks in advance!
