Wow Trace2013 - not much longer to wait for your wedding now! Were you able to catch the recent Welcome Wagon Bridal Show in Wpg last wknd? They had a record attendance and lots of great ideas n prizes for the brides. I wanted to let you know I'm currently in Wpg (my original hometown) and will be for a few more wks - in case you're interested in getting a wedding hand sculpture done here, to avoid having to carry it back from Mexico - just a thought. Congrats dwbride2014! and welcome to the forum I see you're considering an in-house photographer, and would really recommend that you spend the extra it takes to choose a professional instead - for such an important responsibility! You're already putting so much time + energy into creating the perfect wedding celebration to remember and cherish for the rest of your life! ...... choose a professional to capture all those irreplaceable moments in a photo record to last for generations to come! You'll be glad you did every time you look at them and revisit that incredible day! That's advice coming from many brides who didn't hire a professional (to save some money) and now wished they had, but can never go back for a "do-over"!

The Barcelo Maya Palace has a mini-mall below their lobby level - with an assortment of tourist items with everything from clothes, sunglasses + flip flops to jewelry + souvenirs, - it would depend on how many people you're buying for, and what your budget is.
