Congrats BrittanyLo! wow - 3 wks - not long to wait now! It must be nerve-wracking not to get email responses when you send them to your wedding co-ordinator, but in their defense, they do so many weddings that most of them are very busy too. On the good side of that, they have lots of experience, and what may seem overwhelming to you - is their daily job, and one they're usually very good at. I hope you hear from Valeria asap, but in the event she doesn't answer promptly, take comfort in the fact that she is probably working hard and looking after the details of many happy brides. Congrats LSW002! I don't think you can ever book too soon, and advocate booking asap - as soon as your dates are firmed up - to avoid the disappointment of your first choices not being available. As long as you're booked in, there is always the possibility of changing some details later as plans evolve, but the "main piece" of it is "locked down" and reserved for your preferred dates. Plus it makes for much greater peace of mind - at least in my experience. Enjoy your planning process, and wishing you all the best with creating the wedding you've always dreamed of! Good Luck

hola ladies......if you could see some wedding co-ordinators in action, I'm guessing it would help your confidence level a lot. They have taken care of so many weddings, they have the routine down pretty well. I know your wedding is YOUR only wedding - so it's natural to be concerned about all your details being taken care of. The wedding co-ordinators do a lot of weddings with various details all the time - it's their job, and they're very good at it. I hope this helps you relax a bit and ........exhale You're in good hands, and will have a Wonderful Wedding! Enjoy your journey and all the Good Times!

Congrats Alina8706! and welcome to the forum A professional photographer will out-perform the in-house resort photographer every time! It's well worth the extra money spent to get a professional to record this once-in-a-lifetime occasion which you will cherish for the rest of your life You can always use the resort photographer that comes with your package to take some friends + family shots after your wedding, or during the reception - or other parties you have during your celebrations. You'll just be much happier with the results you'll get from the superior work of the better trained, equipped + motivated professional ! It's the right decision to make, and you'll be happy you did "for happily ever after"!

Clear communication is a challenge even when English is the first language for both sides, so it's a great idea to also use pictures to help everyone understand what the other one means.......good idea!

hola chicksmommy - sorry to hear about the stress the weather forecast is causing you I guess that's one of the "uncontrol-ables" of wedding planning, and life in general. While there is beauty in all weather, including tropical rain, I understand how you wouldn't want a storm to interrupt all the plans you've worked on so long and made so carefully! All that being said, I've seen forecasts be well "off the mark" - so will hold a positive thought for this prediction to be incorrect as well Worst case scenario, you go to "plan B" with shelter from the rain......and the "musical backdrop" of rainfall outside. It may not be what you have been envisioning throughout your planning process, but when faced with forces outside your control, it's best to find a "silver lining" and see the joy in what you DO have.....like the gift of the love you're celebrating...priceless ! Plus, isn't rain supposed to bring a marriage Good Luck? .........will keep my fingers' crossed anyway.......all the Best!
