That's such a Great versatile idea, mstigger!!! and you found a great price point for them too I've used sarongs for everything from beach cover-ups or even to dry off with.....to throw cloths for tables or dressers.......they look great and pack like a dream........ thx for sharing......

I completely agree with Katya about her accessment of both the DR and Costa Rica. I've also lived in the DR for over 8 yrs, and only visited in Costa Rica. However, I have a very similar impression of both countries and concur with Katya's assessment ......the DR may be more cost effective, but Costa Rica has a lot more bio-diversity.......so it all comes down to what your individual preferences are. Yes, you guys are right about the DR food being more bland. I was surprised too - to see that they don't use a lot of spice, and their main local dishes are usually centered around white rice and beans.....with a bit of meat added - ie chicken, pork or beef. Ahh well......each place has its' balances with good points in different areas......which is part of why traveling is so educational Wishing everyone happy research, easy decisions + planning processes and that you all have the wonderful weddings you wish for!!!
