Hi again, We are getting legally married a few days before we go to Mexico. We are not keeping it a secret, but we are not going out of our way to share it either I am starting to write our ceremony script (we are having a symbolic ceremony) I want it to seem 'real' to our guests. Does anyone know if during a symbolic ceremony, the bride and groom sign anything? If not, can you request it? Thanks in advance!

Pretty! Elegant, yet will look great on the beach. I probably wouldn't go with a necklace, but I am not really a necklace kinda girl... Some simple but sparkly drop or dangly earrings would be nice.

I don't think so either. My travel agent is actually my sister in law to be, so we didn't have to 'get to know eachother'. However, we had loong chats about what is important to me and my 'side' of the family etc. It can't hurt your planning process!

Dazeydawl, I don't know if you are flying with Sunwing (I am). I have heard they have overhead bins reserved for wedding dresses! That is what I am doing!

Hi All! Marvin and I have sent a few emails back and forth. So far, he has been great- helpful, seems to understand exactly what I want and quick to respond. His prices seem reasonable. My question to everyone is; did you price out flowers at your own resort before confirming with Marvin or did you just assume Marvins prices would be better and just pay him the deposit? I have sent several emails to my resort, with no responses back, so I don't want to harrass them again about flowers... I want orchids and calla lillies in my bouquet, as well as in my 3 bms bouquets. I also want orchid centrepieces...so I know it will be pricey... Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

We also put down a $300 deposit which held 30 seats for 3 months or so....Then our guests only had to put down $200 and final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. We booked thru Sunwing. I am not sure where you live, but if you live in Canada and you can't find another TA, maybe try contacting Sunwing group travel?
