Hi Everyone, I'm having trouble picking out colors for my wedding. I initially fell in love with J. Crew's "Dusty Shale" for my bridesmaids and thought of using tangerine or a brighter orange in the flowers and accents to make it pop, since it is a light pastel-ish color. After showing it to my mom, future mother in law, and bridesmaids some have expressed concern that it won't show up well against a beach backdrop in photos. Anyone have any feedback on this? I'm not great with colors. Thanks! Lauren

Hi Girls, Has anyone had their wedding in October? If so, what is the weather like at night? We have our date boked for next October and our cocktail hour at Mix Bar and Reception at Carnival terrace. These are all outside and I just want to make sure it is not too cool at night to be outside? Thanks!

Thanks, Why do 80% of our guests need to stay at the resort? I hope they do, but some of them are talking about using their timeshares nearby. I never heard of the 80% thing?

Hi Ladies, After reading everyone's input regarding different pricing, I am very confused! Does anyone have an invoice you wouldn't mind sharing with me so I could get a better feel for what things actually cost and start to better plan my budget? Also, we have a few guests who do not want to stay at Now Jade. Does anyone know what the day pass fee is for the wedding day and is this the same for any other days they might want to visit the resort? Thanks! Lauren

That thread is so informative! We chose the pergola for the ceremony blue beach mix bar for the cocktail hour and the terrace for the reception. I will actually be there during your wedding because my best friend is getting married at Now Sapphire on May 25 which is pretty close. I want to spend a night at Now Jade so I can check out the hotel before my wedding. I'm so excited the resort looks awesome! Happy planning!

Hi Kari I chose Now Jade because I thought it was a beautiful resort. I did a ton of research on different resorts and locations and jade consistently got great reviews. It is also very affordable for our guests in my opinion. I think choosing the resort was the hardest part of planning so far!

I plan on making a trip over to now jade while I'm down there for her wedding to see the hotel and get a feel for where our ceremony will be. I'm so excited to be able to check it out a few months beforehand!

That's awesome! What locations did you choose? Were getting married at 4pm at the pergola then cocktail hour at mix bar and reception on the terrace. How far along are you in planning? Its so exciting but also overwhelming! I'm going sown for a wedding at Now Sapphire in May and plan to hop on over to look at Now Jade to scope it out!

I'm not sure if they have any to rent out, but I know there is a Walmart in Playa Del Carmen. I'm planning on going there and picking up some vases and doing floating candles instead of flowers and then using my bridesmaids bouquets for a little floral touch. My wedding coordinator at the resort quoted $65 for centerpeices from the Eternity package and $85 from the Divine. Hope this helps!

Hi Girls I have another pricing question. Just got an email back from Deisy and she indicated that to have an open bar it is $15 pp for the cocktail hour and $53 pp for the reception. I have the divine wedding package and I guess u thought the alcohol was included because it is an all inclusive resort. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks!

Does anyone have a price list? I put a deposit down on the Divine package- getting married October 2013. I'm trying to figure out somewhat of a budget and am getting confused regarding what is included in the package and what is not and how much the additional items would be. I'm interested in knowing what additional bridesmaids bouquets cost ( I think there is 1 included in the package, but I would need 4 more), boutonnieres (4), a Mariachi band for an hour, DJ for 4 hours, and cake for approx 50 people. I saw some cool centerpieces for the Divine package, but didn't see any prices to go with them. Any info would help, thanks!

Thanks! Congrats to you too! I was thinking the same thing about the decor. I think orange will be somewhere in my color scheme so I was thinking maybe that would add to the whole look. I do want it to be outside though and overlooking the ocean so still undecided! Good luck with your planning!
