Hi Ktonder! If you go on the hard rock website they have the 360 view photos which are great. Also if you google it you will probably be able to find some. The resport is so beautiful i did my site visit in Setpember and I am booked for March 8th 2014. I lost my camera while i was there so i didn't get to take to many photos but let me know if you want info on a specific site ill tell you about it!

Hi AngieRich!!! I am getting married March 8th 2014 so im happy to see youll be there a few months before me!!! My biggest mistake was not trying the salon out when i went for my site visit. You might want to check the other Hard Rock board with 2012 brides and see if they were happy with them.

Hi mjhoddi. I was between the same two resorts. I have stayed at both and chose the hard rock. They are both beautiful but we chose hard rock because it is a bigger resort and had more activities for our guest. Also, i found the food to be much better at the hard rock, I think Majestic is more elegant and the hard rock is more party so it depends on your vision you have!

Hi STemple! I am sending my STD 12 months in advance and the invite 6 months. I figure most people will book after they get the STD because i already have my group booking and my TA will send all of my guest and e mail after the STD is sent out with travel booking info. The invite is more of a formality at that point and also to give the people who wont be able to come a change to tell us so

Hi Ladies! I haven't posted in a while just got back into the swing of wedding planning. Any more 2014 brides for the hard rock yet? I am booked for March 2014. So far i got my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and save the dates done. I chose the elegant ivory collection for the ceremony but nothing yet for the reception. Does anyone know how i can work directly with the decor company to get some photos of prior weddings that they have done? I'm not crazy about the reception tables from the Collin cower collections. Does anyone have photos of a pink and ivory wedding that they did for their reception? I also booked HDC Photography for my video and photos Also, If any ladies need a calligrapher mine is FANTASTIC! She is working on my save the dates as we speak. She happens to be located locally for me but from the reviews i read and from what we have spoken about she gets orders from all over the country. Like everyone else i haven't gotten much information from the hard rock but i was able to go down a few months ago for a site visit and they were great at the resort. The Miami office i have nothing good to say about. I have been doing my own planning and getting tips from the brides on this site.

Hi Ladies!!! Hope all is going well with wedding planning! SBOWIE i chose hard rock because it is a larger resort, child friendly, and has plenty to do for all ages. Their food was very very good when i went and stayed there and the rooms were spotless and beautiful. I didn't see a reason to even look at any other resorts once i seen the hard rock in person. I am looking to do the elegant ivory collection but I'm trying to see if i can get one of the older collections or work with the decor company to do something on my own. I seen the purple shimmer in person it is VERY pretty but i just didn't want to do purple for my wedding. Any other 2014 Hard rock brides out there?

Yay! Congrats! This website has been great and so has my TA! If you don't have a travel agent that works with destination weddings get yourself one ASAP they are a HUGE help and a plus if they have already worked with Hard Rock because the communication with them leaves a lot to be desired. I am glad I am not the only 2014 bride at the hard rock on here! Have you seen the 2014 rates yet? They seem high i am keeping my fingers crossed that they go down a little bit! Did you chose your collection or any other details yet?

Has anyone used the elegant ivory collection? Id like to see some real wedding pictures of it. Also, Anyone at the hard rock use HDC Photography that can share their pictures with me so i can sample?

Hi Ladies! Jamielynn...Check with your TA and with Hard Rock because according to the documents i have you have to have 25 rooms booked in order to qualify for the free private functions. My wedding is in 2014 so yours could be different but that is what they have in my documents I was given while i did my site visit and from my WC in Miami. The communication with this resort is the biggest problem i have been coming across so i only e mail my WC now so i have everything she tells me on record

Did your WC from Miami send you the package with all of the music choices? I do not know who the DJ is but I've read all good things so far about the music! I don't think its a "DJ company" like we would hire at home but its probably the DJ they use for their own parties that they have down there. I just came back a couple of weeks ago and we went to a party on the eclipse terrace. great music so hopefully we have nothing to worry about!

I was just at the resort a couple of weeks ago for my site visit and No it doesn't effect the beach weddings. the majority of the beach is open and we didn't even realize a portion of it was closed. They closed it to do some work so it is safer to swim in the water in that area. The Isla beach is open which is where they will be having the beach ceremony until the ipanema side is open. Basically, if your having a beach ceremony it will be on the Isla beach!

I just spent a week at the hard rock and did my site visit. For the brides who haven't been there it is so beautiful! They weddings department on site is much better than the one in Miami but unfortunately you need to work with them. 2014 brides when are you getting married? Hey Ladies! I am going to my site visit in DR on the 23rd and wondering if anyone has any tips for me? important questions to ask that i might be forgetting? I want to ensure i cover all of the bases while i am in DR!

2014 bride here!!!! I got engaged memorial day weekend and have booked my wedding at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana DR! We will be getting married in March of 2014 and going for our site visit the last week of this month. If anyone is considering getting married in DR I am also going to do a site visit at Dreams, Paradisus, and the Now Larimar as well as the Hard Rock just to ensure i picked the right resort. I can give you ladies some info when i return from my trip. I am NOT a DIY bride i don't have a crafty bone in my body and i figured by the time i figured out how to make all of this stuff and ship it down to DR i probably wouldn't be saving much money at all. Cant wait to share tips and get through the stress with you girls! Congrats to all of you!

Hi everyone!! I am a newbie bride and recently booked my wedding for March 2014 at the hard rock. I am going for a site visit at the end of this month! I am disapointed because I was told I can no longer have any of the older packages or decor and i can only have the new collin cowel packages. Did anyone else have this problem? Do you think once i get down to the resort i can work with the decoration company to make my own package? So much to think about I am happy Anyone else getting married in 2014?
