Oh goodness I'm thinking about all of the additional things I want but I don't know. Has anyone thought of doing the crazy hour and violiniist.? Evknowsitall, I'm sorry to hear there is another wedding on your date. It sucks that you were not able to pick the Olympus terrace for your reception. I am wishing that everything goes well. Hi All, I kinda feel stuck! I just met with some of my family members and it seems like everyone has something to say.... Do this or do that!!!! They want a summer wedding and some can't travel in the summer. Ugh!!! Anyway, how long do you give your guests to prepare for the wedding? Do you mail your save the dates a year or 1 1/2 in advance??? We kinda want to have a wedding next summer but are not sure if it is sort notice or if we should do it 2014 LL I will pm you my email address... Thanks for your help! Angel

Hi All, Thanks for the suggestions. EV Thanks a bunch. I emailed paradisus and am now in contact with Marylin Cairo who is helping me plan my January trip. We are going to try to do the Love at First site and see if it is going to be the place for our wedding. What is the difference between staying at the Paradisus Punta Cana and the Paradisus Palma Real? If you pick a certain package do you have to go with the colors given. Forexample, if you choose AQUA do you have to have aqua table clothes and decor? I am just curious. How much would it be to add on certain things to your package like: A reception at the Gabi? a welcome dinner? A DJ? Fire Show? I read in the package that they play recorded musich during the ceremony. Do they have the option for you to hire someone to play during the ceremony? Hi again everyone! Dp1andDP2, thanks for your suggestions. I am going to ask if the entice me package applies if your wedding is going to be more than a year after your travel date. We are thinking that a summer wedding is going to be the best option right now because that is the only time some family members can travel. How many guests are you having? Again all suggestions/ advice would be if great help! It's nice to talk to brides that are going through the same thing or have experienced the destination weddings... good luck to all, Angel

It seems like everything is falling into place I still have like a million questions...Sorry if I'm asking so many, I feel kinda stressed cuz I haven't even started yet! You are getting married in July. Are room rates more expensive in July? Do you have to find your own TA or do they assign you some one( I'm clueless)? Regarding photography- I like the arrecife. The pictures on Facebook look amazing. Who is going to be your photographer? I have watched some videos on YouTube and the weddings look amazing! Are you getting a videographer. What package did you choose. I'm interested in getting the tailor made package because of the welcome party but am wondering if you can add this to the other packages? My FI and I are stuck between le blanc in cancun, which we have been to and it is amazing and paradisus palma real. Our friends say it is beautiful but we have never been. We are planning to goin January. Also my parents are Dominican so it is kinda easier to have them travel back home then have them travel to a new country. (my parents don't travel much). His parents will go where ever we choose which is great! Another reason we are looking to get married in DR is because we met in puerto plata. We are two new Yorkers living 15 min away from each other and had to go all the way there to meet... How funny!!! I have mixed emotions right now because if we have the destination wedding we will also have a reception party back home for all who could not attend... Hello Brides!!! congrats to all of you! My fiancé and I are recently engaged and are thinking of having a destination wedding at PPR. I contacted the romance team and they gave us some room rates and package prices. I like the tailor made package and the aqua. We have never been to paradisus but have read anazing reviews. We are interested in visiting PPR in january 2013 before booking anything. I am not sure if this will count towards the entice me package since we have not picked a date yet. (I don't know where to begin!!!) :confused: We are concerned about the food and hope that our guests enjoy their stay. Has anyone paid a visit to PPR recently? Do you have any suggestions for me? Has anyone chosen the tailor made package? What are your thoughts? Any advice/ suggestions will be very helpful to me... Thank you all! Congrats again to all!!!

Hello Brides, My fiancé and I got engaged a few months ago and now we are trying to get down to business. I have been reading about Le Blanc and Paradisus Palma Real and have heard great things. are their any brides out there that have had their weddings at either resort??? I am so confused. I would like this experience o be amazing for our family and friends along with the bride and groom. we are thinking that a destination wedding will be the best choice and more affordable.
