I failed today completely !!! Got so discouraged after dealing with some rediculiousness with my family partaining to the wedding that I ate dry cool aide yep suger and cool aide! I clensed the house of junk so that was all that was left. #emotionaleater

If the family cabin is important which it seemingly is she has just as much reason as you to want to be married there, whether its a sentimental or financial reason. It's not as if she is copying your public venue its a family property. The look and feel can be completely different. I could see you being upset of she picked that venue before you but she respectfully chose a date following your wedding. The reality is you chose a long engagement and life does not stop for others while you wait marry.I think you should vent get it out of your system and focus on making your day your own and being a supportive sister because IMHO you seem to be reacting in somewhat of a self absorbed way. Your wedding will cast the shadow not hers. Good luck! They will both be beautiful and uniquely yours and hers because the love of a couple makes a wedding not the venue.

Oh seeing as we will get to know each other let me introduce myself. My name is Cherina I get to marry my best friend (again) on 2.14.14 at Moon Dance Villa in Negril JA for our 14th anniversary this is our first wedding, we went to city hall and got a marriage the first time around. We have 4 children ages 10-1 3 girls and a boy and I am a SAHM homeschooling my two oldest, my boy mikey is 7 and has autism so I never ever sleep. The baby caused me to gain 80 pounds after 3 months of bed-rest and I want my body back:-)

@Marymack they really and truly due. The little girl doesn't know better she is only 19 at the moment but her mother (who was involved with her plans) should have known better and nipped that in the bud FAST!

I am so serious! Stone cold serious. I snapped had a bridezilla moment. She made her own website, FB invites exc. and she inviting literally random people. The thing that is crazy is the go to school in south fl so it's a reasonable trip for them. Hubby solved the problem though, arranged a venue buyout to make a reservation you have to go through out TA and get approved by me... #boom... So believe me I understand you, a solution will come. Perhaps as FMIL if she will split the difference for her friends as they were not in the initial budget as she didn't bring it up when you were doing the guest list and budget. Otherwise you would be happen to have them but that confirmation would be based on the final count of guest that were initially accounted for.

Relax... It's a crazy experience. If it makes you feel better get this. My husbands, mothers ex husbands step niece decided that she wanted to turn my wedding weekend into a Frat house 21birthday bash for her. Inviting random people, insaine!!
