Are there any general rules for parent's gifts? Should the bride's parents get the same as the groom's?

Oh, I brought the OOT items across the US to my parnet's house on a recent trip. No problem with Delta checking a cardboard box. The counter man put lots of fragile stickers on it, but said there are no guarantees it will be handled gently. Everything made it just fine, now it just needs to make it to the Bahamas.

I hadn't thought that a box would be a red flag. Another bride posted to bring the receipts with you for the items in the OOT, just in case. My parnets are bring the box with most of the OOT items in it. I will be on their flight so hopefully no problems!

I am looking to a sunset cruise for our small group, too. Has your wedding occurred? Did everyone enjoy the catamaran?

Do NOT get gel manicures if you will be spending a great deal of time in the ocean. I got them last December before a scuba diving trip. By the time we returned home, the color was lifting off of most of the nails, taking part of the nail surface with it. It took months for my nails to recover. This experience combined with not being able to do my own touch ups has led me back to regular nail polish. PS I had gotten the gel polish once before the scuba trip and it was ok.

I highly recommend Pilates! It will tone you and sculpt you beautifully! I have been doing pilates off and on for years, but upped the intensity the last couple of months. I am not officially doing any diet, but I have stopped eating bread and rice. In August I ordered my dress from Macy's in 2 sizes, a 6 and an 8. I almost returned the 6 because I thought there was no way I would ever get it to zip up over my 34D bust. I am so glad I kept the 6! I went from it not zipping, to trying it with a minimizing strapless bra, to now having enough room to have cups sewn in. The alterations will cost as much as the dress as I need the waist taken in while leaving the bust alone, a much more difficult procedure, but to have my true hourglass back after all these years, I'm ok with the cost. I started Wundabar Pilates 2 weeks ago and it really works on all over toning. My FI also bought me a FitBit, which I love! It makes me want to walk! And we now take walks together. I have lost about 20 pounds since April. I have not been at this weight in 10+ years.

Yoe can try and google what you are looking for and add the word "sample" or "travel size." I did that when searching for dish soap to add to my OOT bags. (I couldn't give tumblers and not provide a way to clean them). I couldn't see paying $2-3 each for dish soap and didn't like the idea or re-packaging into small containers. I never ordered any as I found I had enough samples from a display at Whole Foods a while back when Seventh Generation and Meyer's were giving them away. I am not using them in my bags, but travel expos often have vendors that have samples of sunscreen.

I was excited to see the price on the swimsuit bags, but then discovered it is a Canada only store!

I like the drinks to try cards, too. Plus it provides recipe card to recreate the drinks once home again.
