Good to know about the wristbands! I was thinking that could really put a damper on photos! I'm narrowing down my little details too. I was going to ship some decorations but I think I'm going to seperate them at pack them with other people! I do have a wooden sign I made for the beach. Still wondering how to get that there. Wondering if I wrap it in cardboard would they let me carry it on. It's kinda big tho.

Nellie, I really enjoyed your recap of your wedding!! I'm having my wedding under the pergola and will have zebra arms, but it's ok by me. We have 50 people coming!! I do have a few questions for anyone who has been here recently though... Can anyone tell me the types of shows and nightly entertainment they have and what time it usually starts? I know it's very vague on the website and I have alot of people asking. Also, does anyone know if there is a piano bar?? I've read a few things that say there is but I think it was on older reviews. Also, anything else entertainment wise, that I can pass along to my guests? Thanks! Mandy

You look amazing! I'm so glad to hear about all of the good and bad! I was wondering about spray tans too so I'll have to pick up some of the Victoria's Secret stuff. Is it super sparkly? I have another brand, Loreal, I think, and it is sparklier than I'd like! I've also used Sally Hanson leg makeup before. It comes in a spray can and is AWESOME. It washes with soap and water. It's basically a leg makeup but I've used it on other parts, like arms and shoulders. I'm also glad to hear about the resort video. I've heard others say they also received an edited video. I'm having them take my photos. I've heard mixed reviews but I also have a guest taking shots with his professional camera, so I'm not too worried. Congrats!! Mandy

Hey jilianlws! I went through a travel agent to book our trip and she contacted them about the wedding. After ERC had my booking info they put me in touch with the wedding coordinator. I don't think they will really be incontact with you until you have actually booked your stay. They will then ask you to pick 2 dates for your wedding and will let you know what is available. I have the gold package, so video of the ceremony is included along with some photos. I've picked a moderate package without video, so I'll only be getting video of the actual ceremony. I did a search on youtube a couple of months ago. Their head photographer's name is Juan Carlos Lancelotti. He has some videos posted. They seem ok to me! I've seen those same pics on the EPM thread. I thought they were pretty good too! I was concerned at first because when I first booked ERC was using a different photographer but this one contacted me recently and seems better. According to my price sheet from Beach Wedding Studios an hour of video a la cart is $320. If anyone wants to see their price sheet pm me and I'll email it to you. Mandy

I'd really like to hear about the resort Videographer/photographer too. I'm using them instead of hiring someone else. I have a friend that is taking photos too. The man I've been in contact with seems nice. Their website is www.beachweddingstudio.com Their pics look ok and they are very attentive. I've read on the Excellence Playa Muerjes thread that they were Blue Lens. Everyone on theri has nice things to say, which eased my mind a bit. If you have the gold package the videography of the ceremony is included. Hope this helps. Mandy

TealMarie, It took a really long time for the spa to get back to me. If I remember correctly, it was almost a month because I forgot I emailed them! They did eventually give me times and pricing for everyone. They gave me pricing for myself too but I reminded them it was included in my package and they adjusted it. It probably wouldn't hurt to ask Gloria. She will probably refer you to the spa anyway, like she did me, but atleast she'll know. Also, FYI, I'm getting married in July and I just asked her for an estimate of my charges and she sent me an invoice for what my bill will be. It breaks down all of your choices and she had everything spot on so I'm feeling much better about everything. I was worried their would be pop up charges I wasn't thinking of. I would suggest you doing the same when your date gets closer!

So, I looked at the map again trying to see where Barcelona could be. Is it near the wedding site on the beach and the piers or the other end of the resort near the beach and the one pier? I just want an idea and I can't believe it's not on the map.
