  1. Yes, try a dry one! It's not sweet like white zinfandel or anything!
  2. ha! I think white wine and vodka are best bets! I read a book that said wine blocks you from burning fat! Blasphemy! They said to drink vodka and club...
  3. Yes, close! Full bodied! I am a big fan of them in the summer. Nothing better! You are so close to your wedding! Getting excited? =)
  4. I've been on here for almost a year and I'm still not at 150! Close, but not there yet!
  5. I am a big wino! Love both, and definitely in a white over red mode these days. I've been really into some dry roses lately!
  6. I am paying a little more than that for a photographer in Mexico...plus I have to pay an additional $1000 for an outside vendor fee. I guess it depends on what is important to you. I would take a look at area photographers as well for that price. They give you slideshows for online as well.
  7. Definitely not too early to send! I sent mine end of May with an August 1st deadline. You need time to really plan after you find out how many were coming. It's so hard to predict because everyone says "I'm definitely coming" and then the RSVP comes back no =( I invited 260 (I know, crazy, but had to invite every cousin and great aunt, per my parents) and I thought 100-120 would come. It's looking now more like 60! Anywho, I'm not going to start buying all the stuff for welcome bags and printing menus until I know how many people are coming because the extras add up! By the way ladies, have you seen the cute cups they have at Christmas Tree Shops for welcome bags? I had my fiance run over there as soon as I saw the ad! It's off the flyer, but I'm sure they still have them. They are 6 plastic cups (reusable, not disposable) for $3. They all have different phrases like "Keep Calm and Stay Drinking' or "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" or "Why Limit Happy to an Hour". I think there were 6 or 7 different kinds. One of which is beer related, so he skipped that one. They are so cute! I was looking for a cup (was thinking of personalizing one) and saw these and it solved the problem!
  8. December 7, 2013 at Paradisus Playa del Carmen =) Thanks for starting this thread!
  9. We were two years, and I think I am the minority after reading all these posts!
  10. We are doing 2 weeks for our wedding (4 days after the wedding alone, as a "mini moon") and then about a month later going 2 weeks to Costa Rica! I am so excited!!!
  11. Does anyone have anymore long hair down pics of real weddings (with veil)? I have google imaged myself to death! I can't find anything I love. Want soft curls, down or pinned slightly in front. Thanks!!!
  12. Oof. Here in the US the wire at Michael's costs under $4., and I made at least 2 hangers from one package. I bought the hangers at Ikea. $5 for 8 of them. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80217374/#/30217376 I also found a vendor on etsy who sold me tulle flowers to adorn them, and I bought rhinestone buttons at Michaels for $5 for 4. Each hanger cost approx. $4.50.
  13. I would contact the Miami people. I had a minor issue and they dealt with it very quickly!
  14. Thanks! I like them better in person than online. They look great with my dress too because it has a lot of beading and these are simple.
  15. These are the shoes I'm wearing. Very simple, but very pretty! In silver. http://www.zappos.com/badgley-mischka-abbie
  16. I looked literally everywhere for them. I think they are from Italy, and they were possibly hand made.
