  1. Hi Ladies! I finally have something to show regarding the things we've made with vistaprint! The thank you cards were printed on glossy rack cards which I cut down (the white part) and used a corner rounder to make it nice. I used the rack cards as well for the door hangers, and a simple circle punch for the door knob. These I printed on the extra thick stock, so they weren't flimsy. The "I rocked Playa del Carmen" are the postcards that we are using for our guests to send us back their favorite memories of the weekend. I got a free address stamp and stamped them all to us. Will also add postage. The little business cards are for a case I am purchasing on 4imprint. I still have more to do, but this is for now!
  2. First look is where they film or take pictures of the groom seeing you for the first time...if you do pictures before the ceremony.
  3. The price for the rental of the Gabi Club depends on the package you choose, so you will have to figure that out before you will know the cost.
  4. Yes, that is the Gabi Club. I am having a sit down meal served, but I believe you can also do buffet. In the bridal suite, I didn't notice an uncomfortable temperature. It is basically another hotel room, so I think it would be the same as the rooms.
  5. My fiance and our families are going to the resort where our wedding is for a week. After they leave, we are hopping over to a different resort for 4 more nights of relaxation and QT!
  6. I got a tear in my eye when your groom saw you! Very sweet!
  7. Wow that's really cool! I will have to look for it!
  8. I just set up my google drive! Very helpful! I am still going to keep the word doc though, so I can print and hand off to the WC so they can reference it whenever they like
  9. This is a great thread! It's funny, I'm not even married yet, but I can confirm a few things: This thread is awesome because it is such a support system! People really do wait until the last second to RSVP. I have 88 responses yet to be received, with 2 weeks until the due date--and they had 3 months to respond! I am sure I am going to have to hunt people down. It is true: the people you expect to come won't, and the people you don't will. BUT, the most important people will Hysterical--people think it's easier and cheaper to have a destination wedding. I suppose it CAN be cheaper, but I have found it's the same cost. If anything, it is more difficult because of obvious logistics. You can't just visit your venue to see how something looks anytime you feel like it, and you have to bring everything you have to a foreign location. I am spending the same as my cousin who had 200 people to have 60 people. AND, I would love to tell every person that flowers are NOT cheaper in a tropical location...they are more expensive! haha Going on a site visit is the best thing I ever did. You can't truly get a feel for the place and the layout without seeing it in person. No amount of maps and pictures can give you the same feeling as seeing it...if of course, you can work it into your budget. Even though you have a travel agent, you will be inundated with questions regarding the travel from your guests. The tip about the midol is the most exciting news I've seen on here! I have been listening to the song I'm dancing with my dad to every day in hopes of desensitizing myself so I don't cry! haha I've sent about 100 different centerpieces to the decorating company trying to come up with something beautiful in my price range. Best thing I ever did was give them the price range and tell them to give me options. One was actually cheaper than the told me it was earlier! ha! I created a word document outlining each of my events in the weekend with every detail from pictures of the location, to everything I am bringing for that event, they are provided, food choices, etc. I am going to print multiple copies and give to every person involved. That way, they have a quick reference of what I want
  10. Hi! What specifically were you worried about? One way I stay organized is I made a master word document with every detail of every event, including pictures. When I leave for the wedding I will print a few copies and give one to WC. Hopefully, that will avoid any confusion
  11. That's a good idea. I think they will have 3 people though, so I will have to look into it. I thought they had to be part of your group to have no fee, as in, 3 nights? Is that not true?
  12. Oh I can't even imagine. That must be so fun!
  13. AHHH too funny! I live in Caldwell. Used to live in Morristown!
  14. Rola, you are going to laugh! I think now only 60 people are going to come to my wedding, so we will all easily fit in the Gabi Club! Worries for nothing Looking forward to hearing your review!
