  1. Sorry, I posted a picture of it from the website, which you should be able to see. It is the Donna Morgan Laura dress in Peach Fuzz. Responded above. Hopefully you can find it online.
  2. I used Norma from the Mac store in Cancun. http://normazuramamkup.webmium.com/ She was great!
  3. I shipped them directly from the order. Basically, to start, I ordered one to my house just to look at it and check the quality, size, etc. Then when I decided I wanted them, I was able to order them and ship them directly to the decorating company. I asked permission first before shipping. The shipping fee was about $100 to Mexico, but divided by 8 of them, that was only $12.50 more per centerpiece. It saved a lot because comparable centerpieces from the decorating company were a lot more expensive.
  4. Hi! I have 18 palm leaf fans and about 20 (will need to double check this) white maracas. See pictures. Will take $1/fan and $1.50/maraca. All are new and never used. Thanks!
  5. Hello! I did manzanita branch centerpieces, but they were fake trees. Here is a picture. The branches bend, but I shipped them when I bought them directly to the resort and they came out beautiful! They were $39.99 with the crystals. http://www.efavormart.com/30-vogue-manzanita-centerpiece-tree-natural.aspx
  6. Mine was Allure 8958 and it was $300 where I bought it in NJ. They quoted this before we began alterations, but to be fair they didn't have to do much.
  7. You can always go minimal with your bouquet and have the pink for everything else! My gown was very heavily beaded and I loved it! Do whatever you want, it's your day! The most important thing is that you are happy!
  8. Hi! I paid for all of my bridesmaids gowns but had a member back out, so I am left with her dress! If anyone is interested in a peach fuzz size 2, brand new unaltered, please let me know =) Original price is $230, but I would be interested in offers. Thanks!
  9. Congratulations! I am from NJ as well and just had our wedding there this month. It is not true that you don't have anything planned until right before. I began planning with the decor company (Alquimia) and Jessica in the Romance Office long before my actual "Planning Call". In fact, the planning call was just her confirming everything I had chosen. You can shoot your romance planner an email for any information you need. You should have been assigned someone when you signed your contract. BTW, the wedding was literally perfect. Every detail impressed the guests. From the decor from Alquimia, to them upgrading many of my guests, everyone could NOT stop talking about it. Best day ever!
  10. I just got married at Paradisus and while I think it fits all of your criteria, the beach does have seaweed. Our guests mostly hung at the swim up bar the whole time anyway. Our guests were BLOWN AWAY with the resort though, and loved every bit. I felt my wedding was literally perfect! I stressed for a long year of planning, but once I got there it was all worth it. The flowers, decor and resort were amazing. I did the Tailor Made package with the Gabi Club upgrade. Everyone is talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to and PS, we paid the premium for the swim up room and didn't use it once! You will spend most of your time at the swim-up bar! haha! Definitely splurge on the one bedroom master. The space is amazing.
  11. Brand new, never used (I forgot them in the room!), handmade Muchas gracias Paddles bought from Etsy. Originally purchased for $36. + shipping. They look exactly like this except one says "Muchas" and one says "Gracias". Will take offers.

  13. Anybody try this lately? I am starting day 1 today! Trying to lose just 4 more pounds in the next 6 weeks!
  14. Just wanted to update everyone, I am two months away (wooohoo!!!) and I had my planning call in August with Jessica. She was perfectly prepared and had all of the information I had given in the past. I've tried to be very organized, so most of what we went over was just her reviewing everything with me and everything she had was correct. She answered any questions I've had, and has been very helpful with the back and forth with the resort. Rest assured, if you are organized, everything will work out perfectly with your planning call! I am very positive that my wedding will be perfect! The ladies at the resort are on top of their game!

  16. You guys were pretty lucky though...when I placed my first order a while ago it didn't work then either!
  17. Cecilia from Alquimia has been very responsive to me! What were you trying to figure out? Maybe I have asked the same questions... =)
  18. It helped me to look at the way people did certain letters that I needed, and others that were hard I cheated and did Mrs. X instead of their first names. I drew out each one the size it needed to be and used as a template.
  19. I am moving on from Paradisus Playa del Carmen wedding to Excellence Playa Mujeres...
  20. I wish I was as low key as all of you! I have to tell the resort what people are choosing to eat, get my invoice going with the florist (ie how many centerpieces), and start constructing these crazy OOT bags I've concocted, so without a number, I am screwed!
  21. Here is one example of my final product! I made them for my whole bridal party and mothers. I got the tulle flowers on etsy and bought the crystal buttons at Michaels for the center. Hangers from Ikea. I think each one ended up costing around $4!
