Hey Mcsalinas214- How did you swing getting the vendor fee lowered to 150$$? I would love my hair and makeup people to come to the resort. I hate the thought of leaving the resort to get my hair and makeup done the morning of, especailly casue some of my bridesmaids have opted to do their own hair and makeup and I dont wanna leave any of them behind while the rest of us go and get our hair done. However, I refuse to spend 300$ on a vendor fee. that is absoluately crazy! lol.

Hey Sophie I was finally able to get a hold of Suzanne Moral salon, I really dont know why I was finding it so difficult at first lol. But I have my contact and everything is all good. So hair and make up check. How much are you paying for a canopy tent? I woud love to see pictures when you get back!! (woohoo you leave tomorrow!!) As for DJ - I am gonna do the same thing RNtoBe did and just hire a DJ but have a USB with all my music ready for him. I just want everything to flow nicely- and I have a hard time seeing that happening with a ipod. I just had my bridal shower not to long ago and we couldnt even figure out how to use the ipod and docking station lol.... Anyways... BEST OF LUCK!! HAVE A BLAST!! Cant wait to hear all about it when you get home!!

So these are my wedding details... Date: November 20, 2013 @ 4pm on the Beach Colours: shades of grays, light pinks and light purple WC: Jatziri (she is very nice, had the pleasure of meeting her last November) Photographer & videographer: we opted for Gaby from the Riu (My brothers a professional photography, so we have him on back up Reception: Mexican restaurant (we have over 70 people so we will rent the entire place) BM dresses: Dessy collection- In... Just waiting on alterations & I have my dress ordered but it’s not in yet L GM outfits: Calvin Klein- in... just waiting on alterations. Hair and makeup: I really want Suzanne Moral but I can’t get a hold of her via email and there is no Canada number on her website... will try the US number next.... Anyone have an alternate email address to the one on her website? cause the one on her website returned my message ... DJ: No idea... Need help J who did everyone book? Florist: Alina Gomez (super nice and helpful- I sent her pictures of what I would like and she said “no problemâ€. She also changed things in the package for me, no problems... oo and they do more than flowers, I am have been considering Tiffany chairs for the ceremony and they have them to rent) That’s all I have done so far, just starting my centerpiece and favour research. It’s so hard waiting to really plan, Jatziri said it won’t be until September that the planning will really start.... so nerve racking... Anyways. Iliketea!! I am getting married on 11/20/13!! we will be down there at the same time as each other! Its coming sooooo fast its crazy. We got engaged in August 2012 and in November 2012 we took a trip down to the Riu to check the resort out. Jatziri is our WC and she was super nice and helpful. As of right now we plan to rent out the entire mexican resturant since we have over 70 friends and Family coming down with us, However, I have to say I am finding myself second questioning at times and find myself considering the Baja Norte.... Its a nice location as well and has a great view. My first/ origianl choose was the steak house terrace and beach combined but didnt love how low the steakhouse terrace ceiling is. I will definitley agree with RNtoBe about the wine. When I was there in November the wine was absolutely terrible. It makes me sad that they havent changed it yet- i spoke with the WC about the wine ( I LOVE my Wine LOL ) and she said they were in a contact they werent able to get out of but if I re-call correctly she said the contact was only for a year.... Anyways across the street is a wine and liquor store, and we plan on buying several cases for the night of the wedding. Jatziri said that would be fine. RNtoBe, how was the process with everything... flowers? dj? Hair & makeup? Any words of wisedom ?

Hi Ladies, I have looked at all the recommended hair and make-up that have been mentioned. Thanks for all the great info! I think I have decided to go with Suzanne Moral. I just tried to email her but the message was returned to my inbox I am not 100% how get a hold of her. She has a number for calling from the US & Mexico but not Canada... I am gonna try the US number tomorrow but does anyone have a different email address for Suzanne?? I emailed [email protected] and it didnt work. Any help would be great!! feel like I am leaving this to the very last minute and I am getting nervous!!! xo

Hi Ladies, I am getting married at the Baja Norte Nov.2013, if anyone could post pics that would be amazing! I am going to the resort next week for a vacay and a scoping out of the resort, I have been there before but never really took note of it for a wedding. I will post some pics when I get home.

Hey cabobride 2013, I'm getting married in November 2013 too I've done a bunch of research & bugging the WC via email with a 1000 question lol that I've found out that there are time restriction on many of the reception locations... Many of the locations allow for the reception to begin around 6pm and end at 11pm. Which sucks, I know, but what I plan on doing is just moving the party to the disco or another bar for the rest of the night! Another option would be to have your reception in the ballroom, which your allowed to party til 2am..... It's really your own preference. As for decorations and price, I haven't gotten that far yet either... Can anyone help us out?? Lol and can anyone recommend a good DJ? Music is super important to me and my groom and I'm worried.....
