my best friend called us all her MOH because we all meant the same to her...ya well it never felt the same to us because I was hurt she had a differnt friend sign her papers...it was the different friend who stood by her side (then me) I guess I was just upset because she is my best friend and I felt hurt like she meant more to me than I did to her...and that friend is the type of girl she picks a new friend a month..guess it was her lucky month when they got engaged and asked her...its done and I'm over it...and she's my MOH

We invited 86 and 30 are coming...funny it's the 30 I knew would and the other invites I kinda felt wouldn't come and aren't. .but now they can't say they weren't invited... also I agree with kmk2016 don't let who doesn't come bother you..thats the choice they made...even if they make you feel guilty. ...do what you want not anyone else

Ya I talked to her today and voiced that her brother feels like she doesn't care and she totally turned it back onto us and called us selfish. .she says we chose a DW despite them not going...so....we should drop everything for her....pfff. ...not happening. ..she has the money but doesn't want to spend it on this....fine but stop giving me a guilt trip that her kids are going to be upset to know their uncle got married away and they didn't get to come...oh she's a piece I tell ya....well I'm done..don't come cause I don't care...sorry for the vent..

We are doing a beach bash from 8:30-11:30..After that whoever wants to can head to the disco...before that we will hit up the 24 hr restaurant to absorb a bit of booze it will be our midnight lunch just like home hehehehhe

I have a son(17) daughter (15) from previous relationship and they are both in the BP..together we have a baby who will celebrate her 1st bday in mexico 2 days after our wedding...I am still deciding but I may have all 3 of our children walk me up the aisle.

Pink was my other option. ..I even considered changing to pink just so I could use stargazer lilies...but we love the orange accent color so it stays and we will use orange lilies. .kinda ironic that is Saskatchewan provincial flower but it was also my grandma's favorite flower so it has a few meanings for us... not to mention FI loves orange.. I'm having a hard time though finding a bouquet. .they always pair the lilies with yellows or pinks. ...and I want it to have carribean blue in it

I purchased glow necklaces not the sticks.. I got them at walmart because they ended up being cheaper than oriental trading where I was going to order from. .. I got 50 necklaces for 20.00... but I never thought to check their glow time for quality...e I'll do and post results

Why not!! its a DW anything goes...its your wedding and your day.. I think it's a totally fair idea and a great one at that because I bet the father's will feel really special and prob make them feel as important as dad's should feel!!

totally love this idea!! thanks I kind of wanted people not taking pics for that exact reason posting before I see them..I hate pics of myself as it is...also I'm paying good money for our photographer I woukdnt want my guests getting in his way of the good shots. ..and now I know how I can kindly ask them to not take pics....PLUS I love the point that they should just sit relax and enjoy not worry about capturing it on film.. suppose I better run this by mom and my BP and see what they think lol.. I also don't want everyone pissed at me...I went to a wedding where they asked this and I was kind of offended and I didn't get any pics but now I see why they asked no pics during ceremony

Yup we are paying ourselves too. . thankfully we can afford this and all the extras... I am more cautious with money than FI so I've done most of the planning but he does have input especially when I'm unsure about a cost and if we can afford. ..we haven't set a budget which prob isn't good.. but I'm not going over board..no dj just ipod. .no private meal we are eating at buffet and why not when they set us up in our own area so it's semi private and FI wants evwryone to be able to eat what they want not a set menu..and we are also not having what our resort calls a beach bash for 1500.00 upto 20 ppl then it would be 15.00 pp above that...we chose a private cocktail hr on beach which to me is the same thing and for fraction of the price at 6.00pp for 2 hrs and another 6.00 pp for the extra hr...so I have cut some costs...I guess each bride chooses what they feel is important to them and what their guests will suit... still looks like it's going to cost 15 000.00 which I'm told is still cheaper than a home wedding..
