I've been to DR and the beach was amazing...I loved it there but I got sick so I've never gone back...we chose Mexico because it used to be the cheapest destination but times have changed and it's not really any cheaper than DR or Cuba..Although don't quote me because I haven't price compared lately. I really wanted to get married in Jamaica but I could make all our family and friends pay that price. @@tehopper yes go to a TA first..they will often give you some ideas at what resorts from their experiences are good. Mine gave me books to look at and recommended 3 resorts within the area we were interested in. We wanted the Mayan Riviera because it's the carribean side of Mexico and it's our favorite area. So I guess it was easier for her to select 3 because we had kind of narrowed down a little. But that's what the TA can do for you as well..discuss what your looking for with her and she will be able to guide you in the right direction. We came home and Google the resorts and we were able to make decision. Yes you still get the group rate if there's different departure places even in different provinces. Our TA was able to give us the deal through sunwing for every 10 ppl that book the 11th person was free. We have some guests who chose to book themselves because e they are partial to westjet so we didn't get them in on our seats but I never told anyone about our deal and didn't pressure them to book with us..I was just happy they are coming no matter who they book with. We earned 2 seats free

I'm from sask too born and raised! oh yay for me lmao... I live 2 hrs from Regina 4 hrs from stoon.. Im heading to Regina for bridesmaid dress shopping tmrw so ill let you know what the shopping is like.. I used our local travel agent. .small town but she is great. . Sunwing, westjet and one other can't think of who but they all have direct flights to Mexico from Regina and Stoon.

Thanks TiffanyMC. .. thats the confusing part the work seems equal... and it's really hard to tell from pictures because one doesn't know if they have been photoshopped.. so far all brides have had nothing but good things to say about both... I will probably go based on price lol

I received price quote from styling trio and beso brides..I've read awesome reviews from both. .all the pics look great for both....Beso is cheaper...I would love styling trio but I can't help but wonder if they are really the 'best' or is it just that so many people use them that they have earned a name and that's why everyone recommend them... I want the best as possible..who doesn't! but beso sounds like they are just as good and are almost 200.00 cheaper! ! I have read people negotiate prices..how does that work? like what do you say to them so they lower their prices?

I read somewhere just can't rember where but yes someone did do a piñata and they had someone who worked at resort get it for them. The WC can do it but it was cheaper through the worker on the resort...I believe she paid 50.00 filled. . im doing one for my daughter bday 2 days after the wedding..im going to bring the stuff to fill it but will have to find someone to get an empty one for me when I get there Sorry actually found the post it was only 25.00.....The WC could get it for 50.00 the bride said iit was a hit and the guests loved it..

Love the maracas too but FI nixed that idea.. says we have enough stuff aalso absolutely love the key chain but kind of expensive and im sure he won't go for that now lol

Thanks 0811140VCUBA I did see this site before...I guess I'm skeptical that the paper fans will fall apart and be useless. Plus I am looking for the bkue color like in my previous post and orange. I may just have to pay for what I want My colors are ocean blue and orange so I was thinking about getting 25 orange and 25 blue but now I'm thinking maybe white would make a great accent. Also debating on adding pink as a very small accent color just because I have seen pink added to so many bouquets. .and if I did add pink then I could just order Pink fans. I've attached color swatches...think it just boils down to making a decision lol

Ya I considered making program fans but I like how the other fans fold up and will be easy to transport there...

Found fans I want for our ceremony but it's so discouraging when I find out they are coming from the states so shipping is 40.00 not to mention once they convert the CDN dollar it's only .88 USD per 1 CDN dollar the fans were perfect and best price I found so far..just .90 each. Does anyone know if they are cheaper anywhere else? or place in Canada I can order them for the same price? so disappointed. .but I really want them because they are plastic and cloth which means they should be very durable...

everyone looks so beautiful. ..im anxious to go try dresses on but still worried it's going to disappoint me... hard to dress shop when your boobs are 2 sizes bigger...I cant wait to have my body back!! never thought I'd hate having big boobs lol. . slow and steady they aren't babies long...
