    Thanks for all the cool ideas. I've always said that I wanted to do a photo guest book with polaroid cameras. People can take a picture of themselves and when it comes out... write a message and put it in a guest book. Love the chalk board idea along with it!

    Have definitely depends on your finances, and maybe the number of people you have in your bridal party. We aren't paying for their trip. I bought the BM their dresses and getting their hair and make up done, plus a little keep sake. Doing a similar thing for the GM

    I would say register. I have a similar dilemma in that I already live with my fiance and have everything i need or want. I have been to a few showers now where people only requested monetary gifts. I would prefer this but I know a lot of old school people get very offended with this. So what I am doing is making a very small registry. Plus there are people out there who hate giving people no gift or money as a gift.

    Don't know if there was a thread like this before. I was planning on having a small intimate wedding 30 people max. Now we are close to 50. We have a lot of people (co-workers, distant family, friends, and friends of family) who are inquiring about our wedding. Where the invitation is. They are sort of inviting themselves. Most of these people we are not even close to. How do I politely say NO or your Not invited? can I even do that?

    yeah go for it. I know that although family received their Save the Dates in the mail early, within the next month a lot of people were asking us more information on where, when, how they can book and costs. So they would probably appreciate it.
