    Getting married in July... so I'm pretty sure my FI is going to try and go with a grey Linen suit (at least for the ceremony). The GM will wear pants and top... still playing around with the idea of if they should wear vests also. I dunno

    Yeah I never really thought about this because I never heard anyone say they couldn't travel with it. I've seen brides before on various airlines all take their dresses on board with them. Definitely go back and talk to them about this.

    luckily for me my BM were really easy going. I brought one with me to try on a few... Once we narrowed it down I took my other 2 girls. I let them decide between 2 styles. It worked out well, they all choose the same one, even though they care completely different body types and sizes. How many bridesmaids are you having?

    Thank heavens for these lists and ideas. I would be lost. Plus, good to know because I'm sure closer to the date when we're about to leave... I'll probably so stressed out and forget a bunch of important things.

    For me a few reasons are: 1. I love to travel 2. Just the thought of having a big wedding gives me anxiety, which is what would happen if we got married here. 3. My FI and I are from 2 completely different cultures so we wanted something different and neutral. 4. No one in my family or his immediate family has ever gone to a DW.

    I'm thinking of doing something like this as well... I hoping that my Wedding Planner has and won't charge me an arm and a leg, I really don't want to lug vases with me on top of everything else.

    I too am looking for OOT bags... I'm looking for yellow ones. I have to make around 30 bags (so far) so I need them to be a good price. Can any one suggest any good places? Also, can anyone recommend a good site to get good quality of pashminas???

    Don't know if you were able to find any, but dollar tree seemed to have some ok ones and very affordable. They aren't that big therefore your bag will look full. They are plain totes, with the handles and the bottom a different colour (green/blue/red).

    Originally we told are families no more then 50 people!!! Now our guest list is at almost 100... We know that some won't be coming but sent out the invitation as a courtesy. Until we start getting our RSVP's back we won't know for sure. A family member recently told me about a wedding in mexico she went to. The bride and groom anticipated 50 people to start and by the time the wedding came... they had 130ppl who showed up! This would be my worst nightmare ever. I really want to have a small intimate wedding. So we'll see

    Some really great ideas! I too wasn't sure whether to get my FI and he was totally clueless about this. I spoke to a few friends who said they never got anything for each other for the wedding, but when they were on their honeymoon they each picked out a piece of jewelry they wanted as a souvenir/ wedding gift.

    I'm getting married in the Bahamas and what we decided to do was have a semi-private meal at a local restaurant. We figured since most of our guests will be staying on the resort for the whole week, that we would do our reception somewhere else.

    Glad to know other people out there are going through the same thing. You would think it would be common sense to people, like why would someone go to a wedding if they didn't know the people... but i guess not.
