  1. Thanks for the explanation.... this too didnt cross my mind.
  2. Now I don't know what to do. Wasn't planning on tipping anyone. I mean the bartenders will be getting tipped on a daily basis. My reception is off site and I'm already charged 19% tax on top of meals and drink. And I see that most of you did tip your WC.... I have a package with my WC and I'm actually getting charged $250 EACH hour I use her. Isn't that enough? Like the idea of sending flowers. Maybe I'll do that.
  3. Such a great idea. Was planning on doing this for the reception but now I may change my mind. Thanks!
  4. I wasn't planning on having cake toppers but I think I've changed my mind. So many cute ideas here!
  5. Wow these cakes are beautiful. I'm trying to decide whether I want to do cupcakes or just a cake.
  6. I've stayed zt the riu twice. Its great. The only down side is that its small. Were getting married at the cloisters at one and only. Then taking our guests to restaurant Lucianos. You have to be careful cause costs can easily add up.
  7. I know this may not help a lot of people out but for those who live in toronto there is a bath and body outlet. Almost evrything is 50-75% off. Just picked my my hand sanitizers for 50cents. I also got big bottles of body wash for $2.50 which I'm planning on using for my bridal shower. It can be a hit and miss kind of place but definitely worth checking out if its close by.
  8. wow... Love the bags.. And $3.50 is pretty good price!!! Thanks for sharing
  9. Jesse878... No I never thought of that! Thanks for the tip.
  10. Does he seem affordable?? and does he sound like he plays a wide variety of music?
  11. Just another idea.... I'm getting married at the RIU. Choose it because its all inclusive so our guests food/drink will be taken care of for the time they are there. The down side is that the resort itself is pretty small. But the few times I've been there it was good. We also chose it because Atlantis is right beside this hotel walking distance. Has casino, club/bars.Your guests can walk over any time. (except have to pay still to see the aquarium and water park). We are not doing a beach wedding either. We decided that we are going to get married at One and Only Cloisters and then take our guests to a place called Luciano's for dinner. Let me know if this helps.
  12. Haha don't worry... My bridesmaids do not get along at all. Could you maybe pick a designer that has a few different styles (ie. strapless, one shoulder etc) and they can choose their own dress? That way the colour is the exact same?? If not try not to sweat it.. Because its only 2 of them it won't look bad that they have different shades.
  13. I love the idea of blue shoes especially since I'm having a tough time thinking of "something blue".
  14. I agree LKocelko... wedge might be the way to go so it gives you height and more stability. Or at the end of the day just go with what you are comfortable with!
  15. like the idea of mixing 2 types of petal colours. i'm also having hanging flower balls at the end of each isle in a nice ivory colour.
  16. I also purchased a maggie dress and its satin..I'm getting married in July and that's one of my concerns. I'm still going to wear it cause its just a few hours and plus i love the dress.
