    Any other brides doing a navy and fuschia color scheme? I was thinking I would do navy linens with fuschia flowers and lots of candles.... I would love to see some of your pics! I am stuck on what kind of flowers to do!

    Can anyone advise how the hair and makeup services were at PPR? I am a little nervous! Have any past brides had extensions (clip ins) put in at the salon? Thanks!

    I think most people do thier rehearsals at the resorts they are staying at.

    Another idea you may want to look into is having the ceremony/reception off the resort, at a venue like the Jellyfish or Kukua Beach Club.

    yes, it was part of a promotion. our contract says: 1 hour comp cocktail party for all inclusive hotels with domestic drinks (wedding group cocktail party applicable is the complimentary amenity included in Wedding Romance Package. Only 1 complimentary cocktail party) I was hoping to decipher what this actually means. Our wedding is on a Sat , so we were planning on doing this on Thurs and giving everyone Friday as a "free" day. I love the idea of an excursion on La Barcaza , but I dont think it is going to be in budget for us.

    Is anyone doing a Welcome Cocktail Reception? I heard that it may be included if you book a certain number of rooms, but I am not sure.

    Hi ladies- Can any past brides answer a question I have about the DJ? I think I am going to go with DJ Mannia... Is an MC included with the price they quoted or do I need to ask for this separately, or get someone from my group to MC?

    I agree that the $1000 fee is ridiculous. I am trying to decide whether or not it is worth it, and have been waivering back and forth.
