    Hi there, Well in my contract it says I get a free Welcome Cocktail party for one hour, and then I wanted to plan a group dinner at one of the restaurants. I am having a hard time securing either of them, and I have sent multiple emails. Someone finally responded and said they could not make a dinner reservation for more than 10 people? Which is crazy..... And they did not answer my questions about the cocktail party either. I just wanted to get the locations of the welcome party settled, but they are not making it easy. This is why I ultimately chose to move my wedding off the resort. I have had a very frustrating experience so far when dealing with PPR.

    Hi Ladies, I am having an issue booking my Welcome Dinner-- we are going to be about 40-45 ppl..... Has anyone else had an issue with this?

    that's a little upsetting because when I booked my May wedding back in July, I was also given the 2009 pricing, however I was not told that she would honor those prices when I contacted her regarding the increase.

    For those of you who are doing long tables, are you using table numbers? Or putting the guest's name at each place setting?

    Those colors are beautiful! Will look great with the ocean! Are you bringing a lot of decor with you?

    Peaches, we are allowed to use wish lanterns and sparklers but you have to bring your own. You are not allowed to travel with or mail sparklers so I am getting mine from dj mannia. I am bringing wish lanterns in my luggage.

    and i was thinking of doing menu 4 with the chef's pasta for our dinner. it's pricey though, so i was also considering menu 2.

    Not sure which hors I am going with yet. The mini caprese, sliders, bacon wrapped shrimp, and chicken skewers all sounded good to me though!
