Hey S - please don't look at my english writing , I am french...- I'm just starting to look at destinations too.. since I've chosen my engagement ring and I will be engaged any time now.... I had my mind set on a DW on may 8th, 2013 but after reading 10 pages of this thread.... WOW.. I think it will have to be a November 2013 wedding ... which was my second option. I've been to a DW back in 2010 at the Majestic Colonial.. and since that day I knew this is what I wanted !! The resort might change.. but it would be either in Cayo Santa Maria Cuba (cheapest.. more guest would be able to attend) or in Punta Cana. I had no idea it would have to be planned so many months in advance...and didn't expect all the extra cost for the reception to be as I'd like it to be.. I, too, want to stay in off season , but also want to stay away the hurricanes season.. that's why if it's not May 8th, (sigh...) it would have to be November. Have you decided the resort you want ?
