Hey girls ! So I was able to send all my save the date at the end of September...So my guest have exactly a year to save $ if they want to come... so far I have 25 guests that are coming. I'm so excited, it's starting to feel real lol Tomorrow I'm going to a wedding fashion show with my mom to start looking at dresses because I have no idea of what I want ! For our invitations I think we are planing on sending those in April-May but I have not decided yet what I want i.e. Passport invitation or else.. How are you ladies doing ?

She really is wonderful !!! I've just made my mind for our save the dates ! We're doing postcards,now I need to print those and send them ! That will give everybody exactly a year to get ready !! I'm thinking of going with the passports as well for my invites ! Are you doing them yourself ????? How many months in advance are you planning on sending them ?

Hey Eva I just "followed" you so I don't miss one of the thing that you're going to post ! Magdalena is the one that responded to me ! She seems really nice ! And I really appreciate that I was able to send a bunch of emails back and forth with her on the first contact !! I want our wedding to be a Tuesday or Wednesday, since we're planning to arrive on a Saturday it gives us a few days to get a nice tan on lol and then a few more days before we leave ! I'm debating between may or fall (end of September or October to give me more time to organize everything). I already got the pricing info for the packages and extra but I'd like the info you have on the photographer as well !! you can PM me or email : [email protected] thank you Did you see some of his/her pictures ? Are you having the symbolic or the legal ceremony? As for the OOT bags, I never knew about those before I came to this website... and I am sooooo going to do some ! WOW ladies ! I was really considering one of the majestic for our wedding, but decided to still look around. I wrote an email this morning to the iberostar bavaro, and the coordinator literally wrote me back in 10 minutes. I am completely surprised, and I think they just hooked me with that ! I looked at their prices, and it is also a lot cheaper than the majestic packages. I am SO excited ! If I could only make up my mind on the date and month now !!! We also aren't sure if we're doing the symbolic or legal ceremony... Oh my.. so many decisions to take !! And I am like the most indecisive person on earth! Marie-Eve

Hey Lauren ! I hope you'll enjoy your vacation! I've attend a wedding in 2010 at the Colonial and it was great. So I'm more than thrilled about the Elegance being "upscale" lol... I just don't want the cost for my guest to be too much! We'll see.. I read that at the Elegance there is only one part that is adult only (club) so either one would be perfect since we *might* have some kids coming ! Please come back here to tell me how was your vacation !!! Marie

Anyone have information on the religious ceremony ? How much extra does it cost ? What paperworks would I need ? Can it still be done at the resort? Hello everyone ! I'm a newbie here...I'm not officialy *engaged* yet, only because my ring is not ready. But I still got the go to start planning the big day/week We're having trouble choosing a resort for our wedding. Both Majestic are at the top of our list since they do so many weddings each year, I would'nt be scared to trust them. Now, making decisions (big) is not really my thing lol so I need all your help/advice. Between Colonial and the elegance which one should we go for, and why? What is the main differences between those 2? Also, if you guys have other suggestions for the resort please tell me !! Also, am I too late for a wedding on May 8th, 2013 ? (I always wanted to get married on a May 8th just because my mom got married on that date, and her mother aswell. And both couple are still married I would be the 3rd generation .... but I really think it is getting to late now... Unless maybe I choose a less popular resort!) Thanks in advance for your replies ... (and sorry if I made mistakes.. english is not my first language )
