  1. Thanks Jordan, I originally wanted Secrets Maroma. However, i decided it may be too expensive for some of our guests. I really like the look and layout of Capri over Silversands and The Vine. But it's tough to find anyone who can provide input on having a wedding there. The wedding planners on site at the resort have been very forthcoming with info and provide quick replies to my questions. They've provided beautiful photos of their wedding set ups. I think we're going to go ahead with Secrets Capri. Hopefully we choose right! I see you're having your wedding at The Royal. I've heard nice things about your resort as well. I like that they'll allow children on-site to attend the wedding.
  2. Hi there, After lots of searching for resorts, i'm very close to deciding on Secrets Capri. Is there anyone out there who has recently married there or plans to? Thanks!
  3. I'm also considering this location for my wedding in fall 2013! (I fell in love with Secrets Maroma, but we decided it would be too much to ask our guests to pay). I love the look of Secrets Capri; it has a lot of charm. When selecting a resort, i'm trying to prepare for the possibility of rain..and i can honestly say, if a beach wedding was rained out, the resort looks like a beautiful place for indoor photos! I googled Secrets Capri wedding and found some sessions done by Del Sol and Elizabeth Medina. They are several years old, like yourself i'm unable to find anything recent. I'm a beach person, love being in crystal-clear water. A lot of the trip advisor posts state the water can be murky at this resort, so i'd also love to hear first-hand about the recent condition.
  4. Hi there, Anyone on here aware of there is any 'green space' at the resort? It looks like a beautiful spot, and i love the idea of a private wedding on the terrace. However, i'd like options to have photos done around greenery and foliage as well as the beach. Thanks
  5. Has anyone been to both of these resorts, and if so, do you have a preference for a small wedding party? I've been to Playacar and loved the beach. And it was a convenient walk or bike ride into Playa del Carmen. There doesn't seem to be a lot to do around Maroma Beach, and i don't want our guests to become bored. Thanks!
