    One idea I'm thinking of is to go to the Walmart in PDC the day before the wedding to grab some randoms and maybe they will have candles. I mainly want to go to get a few dozen roses at a decent price. As far as candles I think I'm going to do the little twisty led lights, they will hide in my centerpiece well and match the lights under the table I think we're upgrading to:) plus since ill prob have my ceremony on the beach the wind won't blow the candles out.

    Hi katie You can def bring your own decor, but they charge a fee to set them up for you:) prices vary. If you email them and ask what they are charging for how many centerpieces chair sashes ect... They will tell you how much

    I think your right to think that May is cheaper. i know around spring break time its a bit more expensive down there. I think that october ish is a cheaper time as well, but keep in mind that time of year can come with hurricanes. My guests paid around 1500 pp at Dreams Tulum, which includes airfare, All inclusive resort, and transfers to and from the resort, for 7 days, and 1200 or less for 5 days. hope that helps:) Have you been in touch with a TA?

    I sent my Save the dates out in March, and then my invitations went out at the beginning of August. the book by date was for the end of August, and if my guests booked by that date then they got a special promo my TA and the resort was offering. Im glad most people went ahead and booked sooner rather than later, because the resort did sell out of the garden view rooms and the rates and airfare rates ended up going up.

    That's awesome of you guys to do that. We actually got a similar deal, only ours was every 6th room, you get the sixth free. We only have 10 rooms booked though so to be honest we had planned on putting that money toward the wedding. Now I feel horrible for not putting it toward an excursion for them! Lol... But I bet if I had a bunch more rooms it would be something we would consider. You guys will def have a ton of fun! I think the only group excursion we are all doing is prob the Tulum Ruins. It's really close to our resort and has a very low entrance fee.

    My wedding is in May. I had a few guest book a few weeks ago, and garden view rooms are sold out for my wedding week, they only have suites and junior suites left. So I would say its a good possibility that the resort could fill up:) my guests started booking in August.

    I like the idea of getting them local too. They'll be authentic! But they have them at oriental trading as well:D

    Haha... Wedding politics! I'm with the others on this one. I hope no one throws me a shower because wedding invite many ppl at all to our dw. I guess I'd be ok with it if we get our AHR invites out soon, but even that list won't be a whole ton of ppl. I would just feel awkward. At my baby shower my future mil threw for me she invited EVERY one she knew, and I was really sweet and I got a ton of stuff. But it was so weird cause I didn't even know anyone at my own baby shower!

    Thanks ladies! My alterations place didnt have them and just told me to find them and bring them in. I looked everywhere! I had soon those ones on amazon but wasn't sure if they were right for my purpose, thanks for the review travel girl! I'll def be buying these:D

    There are def some of them I can't do, especially the v push up; I try to do reg push-ups or try to do variations of the v push-ups. I think that's the whole idea though; I love it cause in the videos you'll see people on Shaun t's team drop out and take a break, it's comforting to know we aren't the only ones struggling!

    I believe most of the people who are coming to our AHR were invited to the wedding, there are some +1 situations where these ppl were not invited. We're sending seperate invites for our AHR, hopefully here in the next few months. We will invite essentially the same ppl but there's a few that were not invited or culdnt make our dw for obvious reasons.
