  1. Bed bath and beyond sells the tervises ... And they often have 20 percent off coupons. And who can argue with a life time warranty?!? I love those bags too! I never would have though to check old navy!
  2. I love the cups too. They are on clearance at our local Walmart here. Tervis tumblers are also a great option, they are pricey but areAWESOME and have lifetime guarantees. I have several myself and want to include them in my bags.
  3. Hey hey! Hope you find this site useful, I know I have:D
  4. So glad you started this thread! 1.journey...don't stop believing -corny, but great sing along song! 2.tom petty....here Comes my girl -dinner song, ceremony Thanks all I got:)
  5. That's not a bad idea. I only want 12 as we don't have many guests.... Doesn't seem like an item that would go on sale, maybe after summer though. A lot of stores will have a 10$ off $50 type coupon, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled! I'd kinda like to purchase in store to save on shipping. I've ordered a lot online but our city is so close to the water you can find them eeevvvveeerrryyy where round here
  6. I like your idea of giving the bags out before leaving, you'll get around an extra c hecked bag fee!
  7. Cheapest I have found was 6 bucks. I'm waiting for coupons to come out lol, I know here in va office max will give paper bags and you'll get 20 percent off whatever goes in it. Keep me posted if you find them! I want them for my OOT bags:D
  8. I haven't thought much about gifts for my parents, but I would give them before you leave. Not sure where your wedding is but some places will want you to claim them at customs, if their expensive youll have to pay duties/taxes...
  9. I saw them on amazon, but they weren't the dummies brand, which I really like. Let me know:)
  10. Go off how many guests you have, if you ave quite a few you should do them. Have something by the guest book, like a starfish with a name tag/table 4... Then they just look for table numbers
  11. I haven't personally but I have read great reviews and seen awesome after pictures! I would say go for it! Keep us updated!
  12. I like the gift bag idea as well. You could do a cute little natural colored one with you location printed on it. Then you could include the welcome letter, and give everyone resort gifts certificates, if your resort does that. They could get massages, go on a snorkeling excursion..ect. Or pay or the group to take an outting excursion to one of the ruins or a cruise or something. Bet you could get a Big group discount!
  13. I'll say this.... As far as trip advisor goes it's definitely easy to get sucked into reading bad reviews. Just keep in mind people are more likely to post BAD reviews over good ones. Check the reviews on here:) I would also recommend asking your TA what resorts will be the nicest, have the best group deals, and then look into that resorts packages. You could also narrow down the list by figuring what environment you want to be in. Playa del Carmen , busier with bars ect. I'm getting married in Tulum, at a resort that's a bit remote. Happy planning:)
  14. Hi! I would start with your travel agent, that has possibly planned for groups in the past. She or he can recommend some places with group deals. This site is also a great resource, as well as reviews from trip advisor. Once you have it narrowed down to a few beautiful resorts, check their website for wedding ackages, and of course more reviews. I would def recommend somewhere all inclusive, takes a lot of budgeting out of your guests hands because everything is included. Happy planning!
  15. I can relate!! So over the complaining. If they want to go awesome. If not, see ya later! That's my take.
  16. I don't have a good map, but I can suggest going to google maps, doing a quick screen shot, then you can copy paste that to Your paint app to cut zoom ect:). I did it for the resort map, as dream's site is flash.
  17. I really liked the idea of them... im not doing a first aid kit since this is kind of taking its place. i added chapstick to them too. the tins were really cheap at least i thought, like a dollar something a piece. they are large, and an inch thick, plenty of room to put some stuff in. they are also hinged which i thought was a nice touch.
