    I had sent actual invitations, and each invitation had a flyer inside that clearly read the deposit book by date, then also had RSVP cards with a date close to the TA book by date. I went through the same thing you did, how to tactfully say ummmm are you coming or what?!? Call them and chat, and coy fully mention the wedding, thats what I did. Or you could send another email, and make it look like a mass email, and say thanks to all the ppl that booked, here's the resort info, whatever, and if you haven't booked yet here is the TA s number... Sorry I can't be more helpful!

    My fiancé complains sooooo much that I'm cheap! But $200 doesn't sound bad, I guess I'm letting it get blown up in my mind , thinking it willbe more lol. We are ditching the lanterns already.... I guess the DJ will have lighting? I really do love this resort, this is where we fell in love on vacay... I guess I'll stop stressing !thanks:)

    Sorry about pops..my dad is kind of the same, they don't realize how much traditional weddings cost. Keep your chin up, maybe he'll have a change of heart !

    I guess in the beginning I didn't think I would really want much, then when I started planning I found that there are a lot of things that might be really nice. I might end up paying the setup charges mySelf, depending on how things add up. Thanks for the tip:) I guess I feel better about this resort now...

    Glad to see I'm not the only one with a guest book full of flakes. Of all of the invitations we sent, we only got 5 response cards back, saying either accept or decline. What happened to manners?

    Chiffon does seem like it would be best. I'm doing the underwater ttd and the chiffon is soooo flowy in the water! But if not underwater I would really like anything that doesn't stain easily. I'm not planning on completely ruining my dress, but I bought a 99$ davids sale dress for the session

    Congrats! I would say its really not that early in the game! For a destination wedding ppl want to give lots of notice to their guests, so I'm surprised you haven't had luck. Congrats on choosing a location as well. Happy planning to ya! You'll find lots of great tips and ideas here.

    It's depressing...lol. Well my step dad said he doesn't mind helping set things up. We only have 20 ppl so it's really not a lot of work for us. Maybe when I get there I'll decide to stop being so cheap:)
