I tried on sooooo many dresses to find a style. At first I hated the idea of a mermaid fit, I thought I liked A-line, but I ended up getting a mermaid. My advice would be to try of a bunch of diff kinds, poofy, a line, mermaid dropeed waist, soon youll start to see what you dont like about a particular dress.I screwed up and bought a dress on my first day out, and I quickly realized that it wasnt my dress. ll be wearing it for the trash the dress and it was only 99$, but I had major remorse for a while. I get where your coming from having never tried on a dress and buying it online. But if you try it on in your salon then you know its THE dress you want, you just have to ask the seller for LOTS of pictures, and a lot of the used ones are actually new with tags they are just samples, like Choco said. Your dress is out there and she is looking for you too!

Play around with the bustle idea. I think this is going to be your main option. It may be a bit fluffy bit it will work out. I think a good seamstress could make a bustle that minimizes the poof you speak of. I think cutting off the train s an option but that's a matter of personal preference. It's. gorgeous dress and I'm a huge fan of the skirt and train. Very feminine.

There aren't A ton of Dreams Tulum brides either. Doesn't have to be lonely though! Check out the thread for your month and year and bond with those ladies, your wedding is a ways out but there are some others getting an early start. Check out the DIY forum if your into that kinda stuff!

Well Check out Kelly Dooley in her $34,000 dress! Im telling you, that show is bad news! I used to watch that show before I found my dress, and i would cry! Because I knew I didnt have that much money and I wanted that WOW moment. I finally found my Allure 8815 and my salon had it for 913, it will still need alterations of course, but the dress itself came in under 1,000. Even some of the Maggie's are close to or just above 1,000. Keep us posted:)

Congrats to ya! Start reading reviews to find your venue! Next important is your dress and getting your save the dates or word out about your wedding. you want to give people lots of notice so they have a better chance at attending. After that a lot of things will fall into place. I got a destination wedding planning book for Barnes and Nobel and its great. Good,luck to ya.

I was going to exactly the same price point as you, and Allure has both gorgeous dresses and reasonable prices. You can check netbride for a price quote, they are reputable and often have the lowest prices. Another idea is to check out once wed or preownedweddingdresses, you can try on your dress at your local salons and then Scour the Internet for a used dress at about half the cost. Some ppl think its bad jojo, I think it's savvy! Good luck

I think the reason They charge extra is because some ppl arnt staying at the resort, ie, some of your guests may decide to stay at the resort down the street. But still you would have to get them a day pass to your resort as well, so it is a little aggravating. As you do further research you will find many places charge a lot for ANY extras, like bringing your own photographer or DJ or other outside vendor in the place of using theirs. Our resort charges 120$. Any set up of our decor will cost extra as well. As far as bargaining, I'm not sure. It IS Mexico so ya never know, I plan to get down there and try my hardest to do so and get them to budge on some of their fees, cause they have started to add up! Good luck with your planning!!

This is my inspiration pic. I am in love with the net table runner! I found them on amazon and have also mimicked the coral, only my coral is faux. I found some aquarium coral in the pet section and spray painted it and it looks pretty good!

Hey Dazey Soo... Im getting started making these babies, and Im running into some issues. Im wondering what mm beading/elastic your using. It seems my .8 is too big to fit through like, almost ANY of the beads I have bought :/ the single strand is fine, I run into trouble when I have to try to get both sides through to run up the foot. I cant really find any of the accent pretty beads with large enough holes. I tried getting bigger beads and then smaller elastic, and have even tried a beading needle. Any ideas?

The sash is a matter of preference, but I think this is the perfect dress to add one! There's a great selection out there via web. You look gorgeous. Congrats , so glad you got what you wanted at a good price, it looks great!!!

Most brides pay the extra to check a bag, designated for their decor and oot bags. Shipping it to your resort has many risks from what I understand, as customs wants you to pay duties/ taxes on Chinese manufactured items, and they are hefty

Love your local flavor idea!we want to do the same, maybe grab some cigars and nuts one of the local shops on he way to the resort:) short and sweet. Dig it. FI won't let me add anything else to the bags lol, we want to get underwater cameras for everyone, but $10 a pop will put us over budget... I'm in charge though. Thy will end up in the bags!

I'm looking to a bit of "oomph" haha, some extra cleave would be great! Is there a better option, like the stick on bra r just a regular strap less? Thanks so much!! My seamstress has told me to just buy them and bring them in.
