I'm planning on sending a separate invite for the open house party....when I sent the save the dates it had our website on..... it that has the info of the party on there! So everyone has the info early..here it is for example: www.carlsonhughes.ourwedding.com

Also keep in mind that I am sooo excited with how they are turning out that I don't know how long I can wait to send them haha!!

I'm with you ChocoTaco7568 I got my dress really fast! Ordered it last month and it as the second dress I tried on! Should be here by the holidays! I will say that I wanted to maybe shed a few pounds before I went but thought what the hell I'll pay more for alterations! I do feel that I'm just finding things to work on because I don't have any idea what the number of guests will be! I've been putting ideas together to be better prepared later! I started working on my invites (passport with a boarding pass RSVP all DIY) that has been a lot of work haha! So question for you ladies! I'm torn with when to send them....should I send them in Nov with a Feb RSVP? Or should I wait till Jan 2nd to send the with a Feb RSVP? Info to keep in mind....I sent save the dates out in July and they referred guests to the website that said "small deposit to travel agent by oct 1st to secure your spot". What do you think? Would love your input!

We are having a casual open house party at our house! Its going to be about a month after we get back.....want to do it before it gets to hot here in southern california! We are having food(all day taco man), open bar, cake pops, mostly cocktail tables and a few sit down tables scattered throughout our backyard! We are inviting 200 thinking 150 will show and all come at different times (crossing my fingers haha)! We will have it in the afternoon into the evening.... We are having pictures placed around as centerpieces and our DVD playing in the house! I'm not wearing my dress again and I'm going to purchase a short more casual white/ivory dress! Hope this helps with getting more ideas of you want!

These look great! I really love the the quotes on the front and back. Especially the one with the picture of your hands! Beautiful! I love the green, I am doing green for my passport invite cover as well! The one thing you might want to add is a picture or two of the resort. Those can be great additions of color and I feel the visual can really be exciting for your guests! I think they look fantastic with or without! Great job! Thanks for sharing!
