  1. These are amazing!! I was going to buy one but with these great directions, I feel like I can do it!! Thank you so much for sharing, you did a wonderful job!
  2. Thanks for the review! My plan was to get my bags from vista but maybe I'll keep shopping! I purchased a groupon with them awhile back and maybe I'll just use it for other things. Thanks for sharing!
  3. Congrats on your engagement! Happy planning! It's your turn!
  4. That sounds like a pretty cool idea! I'll check that site out, thanks for sharing! Can't wait to hear from other brides who have used this!
  5. This definitely sparked ideas for me! Thanks for sharing! I really love all the contents your including!
  6. I would pics of the beach that would great! Thank you so much! I haven't run into that issue with prices but it could be that I haven't talked to my travel agent recently! Makes me want to call him right now haha. Hopefully they get better for your Feb wedding!
  7. I was also wanting to have my ceremony on the beach! Do you feel that its too small for say 30 quests?
  8. These colors look great together! Love the picture.....it's going to be beautiful!
  9. Congrats on getting your dress......it's beautiful!
  10. They look great! I love the tins, I might steal that idea! Thanks for sharing!
  11. On my save the date I included our website that talked about the resort and gave info on our travel agent. I didn't include prices on the website....I figured if they want to know they have to call him and if they really want to go...they will call! Here's our website for an example: www.carlsonhughes.ourwedding.com Hope this helps!
  12. Your welcome and good luck to you too! I would love to see pics on what you settled on!
  13. I'm jealous you live in New York I love that place! No problems with jamming or smudging...I'm making passport invites with boarding pass RSVP so it's at least 3 full pages per invite and there are 45 to make! I'm sure I'll buy extra ink but we use it a lot for other home stuff! I have an HP all in one printer. I feel ya with the space issue, so I say go with your gut!
  14. I'm printing mine on an inkjet printer that was $70 and they turning out great! I was really surprised and I am able to do it at home. With adding in the cost of ink and paper I still think it would be less expensive then paying $3 an invite without any inserts. I say go the DIY route...if you don't like them then the worst thing is....now you have a printer at home for other things! Go for what you want it's your wedding!
  15. Thanks for you input ladies on the invites sending time frame! I will be sending my invites in early Oct and have a RSVP date in early Feb! I will be using MissBubbles205 idea of a Christmas card RSVP reminder (my man really love that idea too). So with all the big stuff out of the way and no guest head count yet....I have starting planning the at home reception and collecting ideas and pricing for that. I figure why not be crazy prepared. Haha I do know that as soon as that number is solid I will have a whole other list of things to do!
  16. Congrats on Feb wedding! We are probably having a smaller wedding too! I would love to hear all about your site visit and I'm excited to see all your planning!
  17. I really love the idea of adding tequila in the bags! I might have to steal that idea! We are getting there 4 days before the wedding and we will be right next to 5th ave shopping in playa del carmen! So it might be easy for us to do that too! Love the ideas of having a little bit of Mexico in the oot bags!
