    I love this idea! I am getting married May 22 in Cabo at the Riu Palace. I am going to have blue sashes and would love to pass them on after the wedding.

    Thanks for sharing. I just noticed they added "decoration packages". Is this new? I was under the impression that basic chairs and white linens were included in the wedding packages.

    I was willing to have a higher budget for a photographer because the photos are important to me. When everything is said and done that is all you will have and I didn't want to be disappointed in the quality of the photos. It also depends on what type of pictures you want, like getting ready, ceremony, reception, trash the dress, etc. If you want to use a local photographer in Cancun google some sites and look at what their rates are. Hope this helps.

    I was against a veil at first until they made me try one on, and I have to admit I felt more like a bride once I had it on. My mom has been pushing hard for me to wear one so I've decided on a finger tip length.

    We sent our an email STD to be more cost effective as we spent quite a bit on our invites and to make sure everyone got the info in a timely manner. We provided all of the information on our Invitation so there would no confusion on anything (accommodations, RSVP). Sometimes you need to spell it out for people and be as clear and concise as possible. haha. Have you looked at Wedding Paper Divas or http://www.magnetstreet.com/weddings, they have some affordable invitation options.

    Kitkat863 I'm glad you got a dress that YOU loved!! At the end of the day, your opinion is the only one that matters because it's your dress and you had to wear it.

    I wouldn't say I have regret, just uncertainty. My gown is custom made, so I'm having the top of one dress and the bottom of the other put together, so I've never actually tried the dress on. I'm crossing my fingers it looks amazing!

    We are counting our photographer as a "guest" as she is staying at the resort with us but we will have to pay the vendor fee for the videographer.

    We are bringing our photographer with us. I booked her right after we got engaged without meeting her which was kind of a gamble but I love her photos! We just did our engagement pictures and she is awesome and best of all, she offers a discounted rate for destination weddings. She is a fraction of the cost of some photographers I looked at in Cabo.
