Wow! This is awesome!!

I won't be getting lash extensions for my wedding. I did not have the greatest experience with the last set I had. I would much rather just wear false lashes and be able to take them off at the end of the night and not worry about the hassle of extensions.

This site has been soo helpful! I wish more brides would write a review afterwards!

You will have more luck with finding those colours when they bring in their spring stuff!

I love all of these shoe ideas! I'm still on the fence about what type of shoes I will. I guess it depends on how much length I have on my gown. I would rather stay away from heels and I hope I can find nice sandals. I can't wait for stores to start carrying spring items!

I have paid for their dresses $160 each and will pay for them to get their hair done at Suzanne Morel on the day of which is about $100 each. I'd love to get them robes but I already went over budget on their dresses.

I'm not a huge fan of pink in general but I love the idea of a pink gown!

I am having a piece of one of my Grandma's dress sewn into my dress as my something blue, we will also be legally married on her birthday.

It's so frustrating dealing with people who want to wait till the last minute! We are 6 months out, my cousin (who is a bridesmaid) and aunt have yet to book, they are waiting for a better price. I honestly don't think they will get a better price because the resort has 4 weddings booked the entire 2 weeks we are there and the cheaper price I found out of Bellingham for them 2 months is no longer available. Our resort has a sister resort called the Riu Sante Fe which is cheaper. I don't see our resort lowering prices when the Sante Fe is cheaper to begin with, just doesn't make sense to me. At this point, they are on their own and if they have to end up paying more that is their issue because they should have booked sooner!

I would be very frustrated!! My friend just got married in Puerta Vallarta at a resort that was recently bought out by the Hard Rock. In her case the resort changed for the better, the decor was nicer and newer and the rooms were awesome! I would call your travel agent and see what she says. I know it sucks when you have an idea in your mind of the way things are going to be and it doesn't work out that way. Keep us posted!

I would be very frustrated! My mom has been a bit pushy with a few wedding details including our hush hush legal ceremony the day before we leave for Mexico. I've put my foot down, we've asked our two good friend to be our witnesses, us, the JP and that is it! I would talk to her again again and explain to her how things are going to be, I've had to be quite stern with a few family members who weren't getting it.

We sent out invites in September and our RSVP date is March 1. I wish I had made it for February so I would have a better idea of numbers since I am bringing cloth napkins, chair sashes, etc which require ordering online. The final trip payments are due in March 15 so I figured everyone would know if they are for sure coming by March 1.

I recommend doing a lot of research, you have to take into account location and resorts. The price differences between resorts can be huge! My priority was the photographer and videographer, since at the end of the day that is all you have when everything is said and done. I didn't want to regret not paying extra for a photographer and having photos that I hate.

It is crazy how inconsiderate some people can be! We announced our engagement in July and sent out save the Dates for our wedding at the end of August. My brother announced 2 months ago that he will be getting married in Vegas in February. So not only does everyone has to pay for 2 trips but these trips are within 3 months of one another.

I'm wondering the same thing, except my wedding is in the middle of May.

Our stories are so similar! We met in grade 7, didn't start dating till after high school. We were in no rush to get married since we had starting dating very young but after 9 years I was starting to wonder. haha. We were are a concert, he had asked the band if he could bring me up and thankfully they asked if I would freak out which I would have and would have never gotten on stage. We were dancing and out of the blue got down on one knee, I was very shocked! We had drunk strangers around us hugging and cheering. It was a great night! We are getting married May 22, 2013 in Los Cabos.
