  1. Hi all! I'm still trying to find bags for our OOT bags. Has anyone had any experience with any of these bags from Oriental Trading? http://www.orientaltrading.com/personalized-large-nonwoven-neon-color-tote-bags-a2-47_979.fltr?prodCatId=551137 http://www.orientaltrading.com/large-neon-tote-bags-a2-14_70.fltr?prodCatId=551137 http://www.orientaltrading.com/large-nonwoven-bright-tote-bags-a2-14_69.fltr?prodCatId=551137 Thanks! Liz
  2. Congratulations!!! Can't wait to read your review and see pictures!
  3. We're doing something similar to ChelseaCat802. Most of our guests, including FI and I, are arriving on the Saturday. We are going to have our WC set up an informal welcome dinner in one of the buffets on the Sunday and hand them all out then. If there are some that arrive later, we'll just give them to them as we see them.
  4. Your wedding and all of the pics are beautiful,,, Congrats!!!! That's a real bummer that you got sick like that though... I hope you feel better. We are also thinking of using Marvin, how did you find his prices compared to the resorts? Did you just email him pictures of what you wanted and he came back with pricing, or did he give you a price list on flowers/bouquets? Liz
  5. I purchased my wedding dress online without even trying it on first! (Crazy, i know, lol!) I bought it from Vows bridal salon just outside Boston, MA. They are the store that has that show on TLC, I Found the Gown. I had excellent customer service from them and got my dress for less than half off retail price... and it's the real deal! Highly recommend them!! I also just purchased my bridesmaids dresses online from a store in Minneapolis called the Wedding Shoppe http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/. I wont receive them until sometime in Aug/Sept but the service has been great as well! Good luck with your hunt! Liz
  6. sure! that would be awesome... thanks! my email is [email protected]. does the flower one give prices too? we are really wanting to get a quote on what we want so that we can look at other options if the resort is too pricey. thanks again!! liz
  7. Ugh! I feel your pain worstbride! I've been waiting for months for a reply from her too. Our wedding isn't until Jan so we have a couple extra months than you do, but we haven't even received an email from her with any info yet. I'd really like to start thinking about our options so that we can get wedding details sorted... like where our reception is going to be and info on flowers so that I have time to book an outside florist if need be. I find the waiting is the only frustrating part of this whole process... everything else is easy! I hope you here from her soon!! Liz
  8. I love how you are having a "Man of honor"... I too am having one of my "guy" best friends stand up with me along with my 2 other Maid of honor's! Everything looks great so far!! I love your website! Liz
  9. Has anyone received the new pricing for the 2013-2014 wedding packages? I still haven't heard from Eugenia and we're just wondering how much they went up this year. Thanks!!! Liz
  10. Thanks ladies! I ended up buying #1 and im sooooo happy with my choice. They look great with my dress and they're pretty comfy since the heel isn't too high. Can't wait till the big day!!! Liz
  11. Ya, i agree with micflair, its definitely your guest list that's jacking up the cost! We are getting married at this resort in January 2014 and are budgeting for Max $2000 for the wedding package. The only extras we plan on spending is aprox $500ish for the poolside reception and another $500 each for flowers and hair/makeup for us girls. We are having our meal in an a la carte to save on the meal cost. That being said, our guest count is aprox 30 ppl. If you have as many ppl as you do, from my understanding, you have to do the dinner private poolside since the restaurants can't fit that many ppl. Also keep in mind, while it is an AI and I agree the thought of paying for liquor kills me too, the charge is also for the set up of tables and you get your own personal bartender.
  12. Sorry that happened, hopefully it will all work out for you, your FI, and your friend. That's the one thing I find very stressful about a DW, is the unknown and the flexibility required... Its hard to get news like that and have to make some major changes when you have certain expectations and want things done in a particular way. Especially when its in regards to sentimental aspects. I think it's really sweet that your FI is so attached to the date though, it's nice to hear that romantic side from people Good luck with everything, I hope it all works out in the end! Liz
  13. These are the 6/0 sized ones i bought These are the smaller 12/0 ones And these are the various larger accent ones i bought Hope this helps!! Good luck!! Liz
  14. I haven't had time ti make them yet. I probably won't start them until my final school practicum is done in September. For sizes I believe i bought 6/0 size for the bulk of the sandals and the smaller 12/0 size for around the toe area. And then I bought random larger stones for decorative spots. It can be cheaper, unless you go overboard like me, lol, and buy a million different beads! haha... I have SOOOOOO many beads now
  15. Hi! I ordered a bunch of different ones from different sellers and had great experiences with all of them. Ill list them all below: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LABeadsandTrim http://www.etsy.com/shop/beadsandbabble http://www.etsy.com/shop/xXCraftersDepotXx http://www.etsy.com/shop/fallinlovegems Liz
  16. We decided not to do Save the Dates, so we sent mine ours out in January with an RSVP date of October 1st (but our deposits had to be in by May 1st, so we have a pretty good idea of who will be there)
  17. My FI was going to order the Hawaiian light grey too, but I guess he's not anymore... Booooo Does anyone have any pics of their suits in Hawaiian Beige? Its so hard to tell what it will look like from a swatch.
  18. Just bumping this thread to see if there are anyone out there yet that has these? I still need about 20ish
  19. I'm wearing barefoot sandals for the ceremony and then changing into my heels after the ceremony (they are over 3"). I don;t think i would look stupid at all if you kicked them off right before you hit the sand. But if you are worried about it, maybe there is a spot you could remove them before you hit the beach where no one will see you?
