Does anyone have a different email or contact for the resort wedding department other than [email protected]? We are meeting with our travel agent tomorrow to put our deposits down and I have been trying to get through to the resort to make sure they have availability at the hammocks location for the week we're booking, but have not gotten a response back yet.

Ours is still in the works, and i'll post a link to it when we're done. We used http://www.weddingwire.com/ because we found they had the nicest selection of themes and color choices. You can also add music and there are lots of submission forms for various things, such as for guests to add a request for reception music!

Does anyone know what the max # of people you can have in the a la carte restaurants? We are putting down our deposits with our travel agent this week and I am nervous to do this without knowing this because we can't really afford to do the per person private dinner. When I first emailed the resort a few months back when we were just looking into things, Paloma told me that "Our wedding packages go up to 60 guests" Does anyone know if this is in fact true?? I emailed the resort last week, but no response yet Thanks!

So I have been drooling over this Jim Hjelm dress for prob 6mths or more... well before my FI actually proposed! lol! I submitted a request on Vows Bridal Outlet site a week ago or so to have them let me know if this dress came in because I could not afford the almost $4k pricetag that it normally retails for. I could not believe it when I got an email in my inbox yesterday saying that it came in... and in my size and color, and in my budget!!! So... after talking with the consultant over the phone and getting the dress measurements, i decided to buy it without trying it on. Am I crazy for doing this??? They do have a great return policy, where if it doesn't fit I can send it back and I only lose the shipping, but I am having a small panic attack that I spent so much money on a dress I haven't even tried on! Has anyone else ever done this??

I agree with the others, do what you guys want! Not much about a destination wedding is traditional so you could pretty much get away with anything i think. Is there a special desert that you two share in common that you could serve or provide as a favor instead?
