I heard the same about Patrick as well. I think I will definitely do a TTD shoot with Ileana off of the resort. Are you doing your shoot the same day as the wedding or are you doing it a day or so after?

Hi Ladies, I have not been on here much but I'm having a bit of a dilemma when it comes to photography. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Ileana (formerly of Tropical Imaging) and would very much like to use her for the ceremony. She has recently signed a contract with Beaches so she is now one of the photographers you can book through Beaches. The only problem is that it cost $3800 to have her for 4 hours. This includes 200 photos...and i believe that is it. I REALLY wanted to do a TTD session with her as well which i could book separately with her for an additional cost. But I'm having a VERY hard time swallowing the $3800 that Beaches is going to charge me. That is pretty steep. Have any past brides or soon to be brides booked the photography with Beaches? Am i correct in that the cost includes only 200 photos and nothing more? Any additional information would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Hi All - just wanted to introduce myself...newly engaged and as of now - new member of BDW!. Got engaged in May 2012 in Grand Turk (one of our ports on a cruise). It was so beautiful and I've heard nothing but good things about T&C as well as Beaches that we are very much leaning toward a DW at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Unfortunately i don't really know where to begin. Should I contact a TA first or should I request a phone call from the staff at Beaches (i've already requested a brochure from them)? I don't have a TA that i use regularly so any pointers in that department would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one that doesn't know where to start. I just recently got engaged as well (May 2012) and have always dreamed of having a destination wedding. I have been googling all sorts of things...there is so much information out there that it is very easy to get overwhelmed. I'm glad I came across this site so I can get advice from people that have been through and are going through the whole process
