  1. This thread is my happy place today. I LOVE all your projects! Timeline is super cute too.
  2. I may have already said this here (sorry if I'm repeating!) but the slate gray tumblers on this site are $4.99 each and the discounts still apply. Happy shopping to everyone!
  3. I'm actually just putting all my first aid stuff in those clear zippered bags (like you have now too!) and am going to print these on cardstock and punch a hole and tie them on. Thanks for the feedback! I think I might like the 2nd one too.
  4. That sounds like a good plan. Hopefully people will respond right away instead of waiting until closer to the rsvp date. I have no idea about gifts and cards, but I hope not! As for the day after, we are planning tentatively to do the champagne brunch at LUCA for everyone the day after the wedding. We will make a final decision before sending out invitations based on where we are with numbers, but I'm hoping we can work it out.
  5. Check out this thread. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/80823/passport-invitation-pages
  6. I don't think we have any in the city, but maybe next time I rent a car for something I'll try to find a dollar store and swing by there. Thanks for the info! I actually did find some pepto on amazon that guarantees expiration at least 1 year from delivery date. So at least I can get those! Thanks.
  7. Where did you buy your medicine? And what is the expiration date? I was going to order the blister packs from amazon.com and/or drugstore.com (some medicines are cheaper at one place, others at the other), but neither place can tell me what the expiration date will be if I order now, and my wedding isn't until June. Drugstore.com says they guarantee it's at least 6 months away, but that won't help me until January/Feb. I'd love to get these done and out of the way but I can't yet! Anyone have better luck? I know I could go buy it in the store, but don't want to spend the extra $.
  8. I like your idea! Here are a couple of different versions.
  9. I've been playing with designs in powerpoint and haven't made anything I love yet. Thoughts on this one? It doesn't seem quite right to me but I don't know how to make it cuter! I'd put too much fun, too much sun somewhere on it. Leaving out the food and booze pieces on purpose. Help!
  10. How fun!! Which hotels are you checking out? I personally think you'd be better off sending in January with a March RSVP date. If you send them in November, they could get lost among all the holiday cards, and the general holiday insanity. I think January is when people start to think about summer plans anyway. And if you've already sent out a save the date, they will have it in the back of their mind. Just my 2 cents though!
  11. I've never used it, but I'm wondering if it would work on a capiz shell. I'm using one on each belly band for our invitations, and am considering putting our initial on it with embossing powder. Any thoughts? Thank you!
  12. I'm also wondering when everyone's RSVP date will be. Thanks!
  13. I sent out save the dates the first week in August, and no one has booked yet to my knowledge. FI's family is even waiting to put down a deposit on their rooms (eek). I put an early bird RSVP tool on our website, and no one (other than my mom of course, lol) has used it yet either. I've had people tell me either that they wouldn't miss it, or that they're definitely trying to make it work, but neither of those is a sure thing in my book! I think I will send out invitations by mid February at the latest. Our room block is only held through March 22, so I may even send them a bit earlier. I'm interested to know what everyone else is doing too!
  14. We're planning to do some kind of rehearsal. I know the officiant's fee includes a meeting before the wedding, and we will just try to lump that in. I'm going to leave it to our coordinator, but at the very least, even if it's not at the actual wedding location, I will have everyone involved there when we meet with the officiant to make sure no one is confused.
