I have chosen tangerine and fuchsia as our colors, very tropical! i think I have also decided on HDC as our photographers, and I'm thinking of going with the platinum plus package~ I can't believe all you get with that package! Still concerned with the reception, and the cost of DJ plus MC. What are you ladies doing for that?

  5. Where can you purchase the packets of tylenol and other medicines? And wipes of bug repellent and all that stuff? I havent been able to find it anywhere CVS sells packets of Off bug wipes, also I found dollertree online for packets of meds!
  6. Hello Brides to be!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!! I have a few more questions and before asking WC i thought i would check with all of you. I saw there is no dancing in the restaurants, so I think I am leaning to the pool area for my reception, I would do ballroom, but prefer to be outside. Do you think there is room for dancing out there by the pool? And are any of you renting the dance floor? I am still concerned with photographer, I think I'm just gonna pay the vendor fee and hire my own photographer, I found some good ones down in Punta Cana, at least I can see their work on their website. Does anyone know what are all the decorations included in the fountain decor for $1500? And how far in advance are you sending out your invitations? Our wedding is in August 2013, I have already sent out STD, and plan to get my invites out in January, but wonder if that is too early. Thanks in advance ladies!!!
  7. Thanks for you input! Just 1 question about sending just one photographer~~ what if I opt for pictures of both of us getting ready? Does the photographer just bounce from room to room? lol
  8. Are they staying at the resort? If so then should be ok, but if staying outside, it's $150 per person

I am including our welcome letter, deck of cards, keycard holder and lanyard, that will say "to have and to hold your room key" (lol, i saw the idea on pinterest, btw, here's a link to my pinterest wedding ideas board http://pinterest.com/jenniferl0331/wedding-ideas/ ) first aid items like ibu, pepto, etc, and still thinking of one other thing in a cute personalized tote bag!
  10. This has me a little worried. I was thinking of going with the resort photographer, but upgrading with a package, only to save the cost on the outside vendor fee, which would be at least $300 if having 2 photographers, since I want pics of us both getting ready. Now I am starting to think maybe I should look for outside photographer. Any other advice or experience?

  17. Hi all!!! Hope you guys are having as much fun with your planning as I am!!! I have a question, who of all of you are just doing a symbolic ceremony? We have chosen this route for cost saving purposes, although the majority of our guests will believe this is the real deal, we are going to do a courthouse marriage before we go to Punta Cana. I read on the website that symbolic ceremonies have a little more freedom as far as the 3 day rule for being there before your ceremony, but Silvia emailed me and said we still need to be there 3 days before. Just wondering what you all heard~~ TIA!!!
