Awwww Congrats Katryne!!!! How exciting! I have also sent out invites and so far 19 people are booked, still waiting to hear on more that half of my invites, but I know a lot of people are waiting til after the holidays. I have my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and our wedding and trip booked. Yesterday I played around with monograms, and my FI is planning on getting the guys together soon to decide on what they are going to wear. I have found pretty much everything I need online, but still am undecided on my shoes, I bought 2 pairs, but need to make a decision soon so i can go have my dress altered. Also still deciding on hair styles, but leaning toward a Carrie Underwood side bun. Now comes the hard part, paying for everything lol 2013 will be a very blessed year for you!!

I just made a monogram with PicMonkey.com it was actually pretty easy and I am kind of impressed with my result. I google monogram to get a template, and used paint to take out the original monogram, then added my own touches with PicMonkey.com! Here is my finished product

And I have def found tons of stuff on etsy! @Paolalindsay, you looked absolutely beautiful. I found you on pinterest and saw your pics! Gorgeous! Please post more pics as we are also having our ceremony at the fountain. We are thinking about having the fire dancers as well.

here are the paper lanterns I'm using in place of glass. Also, does anyone know about the menu for the reception. Do we only get to pick one entree and everyone has to have that? or do we get to choose 2 and give the guests a choice?

@Chrisdeluca, check out these paper lanterns i am using in place of glass vases, just for the fact that they pack easily and will not break!

I definitely understand the frustration!!! Esp since I enclosed a stamped RSVP envelope to send back their replies!!! Oh well, as some of you stated, if is is a priority to them, they will book, if not, do I really care if they are at our wedding?? My early booking discount deadline is Monday. So far I have 12 people booked, including my fiance and me. I have hopefully at least 9 people booking on Monday. I invited about 90 guests, and when we first told them, I counted about 50 were coming. So who knows how many will actually be there. I have a few people looking into getting a better rate, but I must say the early booking deal was sweet! Oh well, I can't concern myself with that, it is what it is! But I am glad I am not the only one with this problem

I also wanted to share how I have been coming along, we booked our room and also now have 14 people booked so far. I am narrowing down all my choices in decor, because after the holidays I am really going to start purchasing everything I am taking to DR with me. I just found out I am going to be a grandmother in March, so I know the beginning of the year is just going to fly by!!!!

Hi ladies, been super busy, but wanted to give an update of my progress. I got an early booking deal from my TA, $118 per night, per person based on double occupancy for the deluxe tropical view rooms. This is only good for me until mid Dec, so I sent out all my invites at the end of October. I also booked my photographer, we are going with HDC, I feel even with the vendor fee I am still getting a great deal and read nothing but great reviews for them. My issue I am having right now is the bouquets, not all that impressed with the resort choices, yet the real touch vendors are sooooo pricey. Wondering how difficult it is to make our own, any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks! Hope everyone is enjoying getting ready for Thanksgiving!

Hello ladies!! We are all around the same time, how exciting!!! I have booked for august 9, 2013, my welling will be at the fountain.at 6 pm, and I think we ate going to do a poolside reception, but I am not sure because we really want a sit down.dinner. it all.depends on how many guests we are having.I have sent out all the invitations, my TA gave me an early booking discount, but must book by Nov 30. I forget who my WC is, but my advice is when emailing them, wait until you have a bunch of questions and send all at one time. I am.so very excited, and even though we are still.about 9 monthsaay, I think its going to fly by, esp after the holidays, which are right around the corner. Have you ladies got ur dress yet? I have my dress and also ordered our BM dresses!! What are your colors?Look forward to hearing from.you girls!
