I am loving this list! But what is a sticky?

the key is def sticking to a budget, but also bargain shop! I spend so much time online buying one thing, I am so glad I started planning early, but I get great deals! Also try lot-less stores, like big lots, ollies, christmas tree shoppes, etc. You will find great stuff, but when u find it, buy it! Don't wait or it will be gone! Also, remember you can always sell your unwanted items to other brides! I have bought other brides wedding items on here in the past, and all great deals! I will be doing the same after my wedding!!!

I am having a shower, its all part of being a bride!! My bridesmaids told me I am absolutely having a shower. Yes people are spending money to go to the wedding and I am not expecting people to spend even more money on a gift, but that is the part you take into consideration when creating your registry. Choose items at different price points so people have options they can afford. I specifically put on our website Your presence on our special day is more than enough of a gift for us! If you still feel that you would like to give a gift, we have registered with ..... It does make it easier for people because we all know some people will still give gifts esp if they can't come and even if you aren't having an actual shower. Hope this helps and I def see both sides of this conversation and agree with both sides, it is a tough situation and only you know how your friends and family will respond!

I am doing a brighter deeper form of coral called guava. We found our dresses at Davids, Aynat's girls dresses are also that same shade, she has pics posted in this thread, good luck!

I am pretty sure everything is in Spanish unless you do symbolic ceremony with the wedding coordinator. But you may want to send an email to your wedding coordinator to verify.

I did check my spread sheet also and I do see the statement in bold, however, it is below wedding day pass for ceremony and dinner, and states to identify the names in the guest list. I did shoot Luisa an email asking her to clarify and I will post her response as soon as I hear!

As far as night clubs, I would probably just use the resorts, just for safety, I am not sure how the local night clubs are with tourists. @KChenard, Congratulations!!!! Welcome mvee1025! What is your date in August? We have decided against the beach wedding because in my experience the beach has a lot of wind and I didnt want to deal with that, plus my fiance didn't want people to have to deal with the sand when they were all dressed up. I am pretty certain those lanterns are allowed, I have seen other resorts allow it, I wouldnt see why Now would be different. How far along are you in your planning? Also check outthe board "New Resort Opening May 1 2011" NOW LARIMAR ~ PUNTA CANA you may find pics on there!

I am still looking! I would have loved for my fiance and his groomsmen gone at the end of the season last year, but I am hoping with the spring summer lines coming out soon we will be able to find. I will keep you updated though!

I'm.thinking of taking a break as well, seems like everyday I'm looking up wedding stuff lol. We are thinking about an AHR, but don't really want to spend anymore money. After the wedding we are going to get serious about buying a home. If I can find something that isn't really costly, I may still consider it though. It just seems like we are spending a lot more than we thought for this wedding!!
