I know it's not the same but you could do a really nice 'artificial' floral bouquet using all the flowers that you want. I believe you can take on fake flowers just not real ones. I am trying to hunt down pictures of the bouquets available on Carnival and when I do I will try and post here but once I see them I will try and figure out if it is bad enough for me to make my own bouquet and bring it on. I wouldn't worry so much but I do love some of the shots of the bride holding flowers and would love to have the perfect bouquet...bonus it wont wilt...

Well we have finally set a date for the wedding and picked out the perfect cruise for our family and friends to come along on with us. We are really excited and I have just started to kick my planning into a higher gear. I have a pretty good idea even without sending invitations who is and who isn't coming but I still feel like I want to get the invitations out asap. Anyways just wanted to start a post where I will likely post the progress of the wedding....and post any knowledge about the Carnival Magic and it's wedding info....

Wow sounds and looks fantastic. I am sort of envious of the fact that you get to have such a private ceremony...I am sure that your family and friends will love to see the video and pictures from the trip though. Also the price sounds quite reasonable for what you are getting...hope you have an amazing time!!!

Wow I am so sorry for what you guys are going through. My fiance's mom also has early onset Alzheimer's and I worry a lot about her condition as we head into the wedding. We really want her to have fun on the trip and enjoy the time she has with our family but it's really hard to know where she will be in 1 1/2 years. We are bringing my future Brother In Law and his GF to help out on the cruise and ensure that MIL is taken care of and having a good time. For our invites we are not really saying anything about the parents....we're paying for it all anyways so it isn't necessary and we don't want to get into all the step parents etc. Good luck with everything and no matter what I am sure you will find the right wording for you and your family.
