    Question for everyone: Is it better to hold on to money in a savings account (with the risk of spending it lol) and pay vendors when the balance is due OR send payments in chunks??

    Hi Ladies, I wanted to share this idea with any bride who is having trouble picking just the right colors for their wedding. As an interior designer I work with color every single day but when it came to picking colors for my wedding I was lost. I wanted to make sure I picked a color that wasn't hard to work with when it came down to finding decor items for the wedding or bridesmaid dresses etc. My initial color ideas were WILD but like I said I work with colors all the time so I love love color. I thought about the process of choosing colors for my work projects and BOOM! the idea came to me... I dragged my fiance to a Home Depot and stood in front of all the paint chips until we were both happy with a color combination. My fiance said he thought orange was a nice color for a beach wedding and I was so surprised because his idea of color is black and grey EVERYTHING. From orange came coral and then we softened his idea of black shades for everything and went with grey. Coral and grey! I truly love that color combination and it has worked out great for us.     Hi Jessica Correa Welcome!I'm going to give you the best advice I could think of. I 150% understand how touchy this subject can be. My fiance would get so upset when I tried to limit people he wanted to invite but then I reminded him that we were having a destination wedding for a reason! To get away from the traditional 200 person wedding where 100 of those people you don't even know personally. You need to sit down and address the situation NOW. You have plenty of time before your wedding. Have you sent out save the dates yet? It is crucial that you guest list is finalized before you send those babies out! Make sue EVERYONE knows that it the list is FINAL. It's tough and it can cause arguments but it's only fair that everyone is on the same page. I don't know what your budget is but I had to keep reminding my fiance that our short guest list was as budget friendly as it was going to get and we could not afford to keep inviting people. Nip this in the bud now before you are sitting there 6 months from your wedding trying to adjust your budget to include 15 new guests LIKE ME Best of luck to you!!!

    So far I ordered free checks, free business cards (which I will use as the room key holder insert) and 1 free sticky note pad and no free emails. The morning after ordering the business cards I did get a 50% off of a few items e-mail but that's all. Hopefully we get this going! lol

    Yea those I got but no shirts, hats, pens or any of the other things other brides are getting. I'm patiently waiting for my free emails lol

    Past brides: How long is the drive from the airport to the Dreams Resort? What's the best form of transportation for this? Taxi? Shuttle?

    I invited my best friends out to dinner and told them it was a "just because" dinner. At dinner I planned to ask them to be my bridesmaids but I didn't want to just ask them so I had a local baker make these cupcakes for me. The silver and coral frosting match my wedding colors. I also gave each of them a card with a hand written note telling them why I had chosen them to stand by my side on my wedding day. I love this whole process!

    It is a lot. I started posting things of my own. Pictures and other things I wanted to share and I just went all out on it yesterday and it paid off. Good luck to you, you will get there I already opened some templates. It is very helpful!
