    Also, if you are using a MAC look into threads about opening templates with a MAC. I know there is a trick to it but I couldn't figure it out so I had to open the templates on a PC. Look up vendors you want or are using and not only can you post questions or comments about them but you will learn a ton! Also, any thread about Vistaprint will save your life! Love that website!     Well... I really needed templates BADLY if I wanted to start my OOT Bags so I made a list of things I wanted to know about. I searched the different topics on here and then I commented on every single post that I read. I posted every chance I got and I started threads like this one about things I wanted to know about. People started replying to me and before I knew it I was there. I really set my mind to it and just went for it. Pretty simple lol and I learned a ton!

    Keep posting! Once I set my heart on getting to 150 I did it in two days. It was worth it. Now I have awesome brochures to hand out to my guests 59 days to go!!! I'm so excited!

    Oh to be recently engaged again Fun times!! My advice: To keep your wedding cost down keep your guest list down and look for resorts that offer a wedding package that is FREE when you book a certain number of rooms. Good luck and happy planning!!! Enjoy every second.

    That's exactly what I am going to do. I figure I can even stay up really late the first night taking care of this. I'm sure I won't be able to sleep anyways because I will be so excited about everything lol

    OMG! I've been so stressed about my stupid sand ceremony frame. I have this whole thing set up where everyone will pour the sand at the bottom of our frame and then we will pour a layer of two colors on top and I have no clue how I am going to get that back home without breaking it. Also, because I don't want to pay $50 for an ugly sand frame I am making my own from a simple shadow box frame and it isn't completely sealed all the way. Yikes!

    Did anyone assemble their bags once they arrived at their destination? Or are planning on assembling them once they arrive? I think for packing purposes it might be better to assemble my bags once in Cabo but I don't want to waste vacation time putting OOT bags together. Can't decide what to do.

    With 85 days until my wedding (thank you theknot.com for reminding me) I am having major packing anxiety. As I gather all the OOT bag stuff and decorations in a designated WEDDING STUFF ONLY AREA under my staircase I cannot help but panic. Apparently Alaska Airlines charges $20 for every single bag that is checked in. I guess that isn't so bad but I really don't want to carry/worry about a million bags all the way to Mexico. I am totally being dramatic because I might not need a million bags but then what if I do. What if I forget something like THE RINGS! Is this normal anxiety? I have a very lengthy packing list but will that help!? Someone help me I am freaking out!

    Hi Ladies, Is anyone assembling their OOT bags after they arrive at their wedding destination? I'm thinking for packing purposes it might just be better to do so? Thoughts? Comments? Advice? I don't want to spend vacation time putting these bags together. sigh

    So... Long story but I will try to keep it short. My aunt offered to tailor my dress. She is a seamstress and has made beautiful wedding gowns in the past so I 150% trust her work and judgement. I met her on Sunday at my mom's for the first fitting. Before she showed up my mom and I were test dying different laces to see how they turned out. Everything looked great but just a bit darker than my dress. When my aunt showed up she asked what we were doing and then asked to look at the veil with the dress. She begged me not to dye the veil because she has dyed things many times before and she said it would be a lot darker than my ivory dress. We tried on the dress with the gown and it actually doesn't look bad. She said an "ivory" veil will always be lighter than an ivory dress. I think I'm going to be play it safe and leave it as is.
