Ya I thought their photographer was not very good at all and was expensive! So I sucked it up and paid the fee and booked Juan Navarro. He is reasonably priced but his portfolio is great and he had awesome reviews on here! I think I only ended up paying like $300 more with the fee and package for the same amount of time (didn't care about having printouts, just wanted the digitals).

hmm..this is a hard one! It would be hard to tie the blue in with the pink, orange, and yellow flowers, however the blue would look good with each of the colors separately. What if you did the same centerpiece, with same flowers but different colors? Like keep the orange but do white instead of pink/yellow.. I don't think you need to add too much blue into other decorations. My BM dresses are a mint green, but most of my decorations are neutral colors. Good luck!

Just realized in your original post you put EXCLUDE not INCLUDE! So I guess Punta Cana is an option.. Also a friend got married in Costa Rica recently, and another in Maui and both loved it! (I wasn't able to go)

I know it is very overwhelming! Mexico was an easy choice for us because we originally met there and a lot of our friends/family live in the NW so it is closer than other destinations. If keeping it affordable is important to you and your guests than Mexico may be a good decision. You can usually get really good priced vacation packages at all inclusive resorts! I think a travel agent or the wedding planning store you mentioned is a great idea to help narrow your options. Not to make more decisions for you haha...but we went to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) last year and loved it too Good luck!

Oh and we had our date confirmed June 19th so it took about about a month to start the planning..

My wedding date is 3/1/13 and my WC is also Jacqueline. If you just confirmed your wedding date I would not be concerned. She was slow to respond at first and I even had to have my travel agent send messages for a better response in the beginning. But as soon as we started the "wedding planning" she has been great and pretty quick to respond (within a week). They have sometimes several weddings a day so I think they have to prioritize... I would imagine she would start the planning process with you soon since your date is before mine (we will be there at the same time...arrive on 2/26!). She will send you a spreadsheet and have you fill it out step by step. She sent the first planning email on July 24th and I just completed it (almost all planning done!). So it can be pretty quick once you start, sometimes I was the slow one trying to decide! Everything will work out and you can make changes and decisions all the way up to your meeting when you get there! I got them at a store here in Ft. Collins, CO. I checked one store in my area and they had none and the next store had quite a bit. I think it was last weeks "deal" so not sure if they will have anymore. I read somewhere else that a bride ordered cases through their 1-800 number but they were assorted in color.
