  1. See for my dates it's a 3 night minimum which comes out cheaper to just pay the $1k lol smh this is crazy
  2. Also do you think they (the photographer) would be willing to check in??
  3. Exactly what is the price for your dates? For mine, BBPD is being ridiculous on their website.

More coverage and more pictures for much less. I was told by Arnaud at HDC that if we had to pay the vendor fee they would add one extra free hour to our package. But when would you book the room? Here in the states or out there?
  5. You girls will definitely have an advantage as Heather knows the resort now. I was thinking of my photographer that i use for all my parties but I just want someone familiar with the resort, also not have to worry about anyone feeling out of place while we're all getting drunk lol

I'm really cool with TRivera and I thought of using Heather also but I didn't know if she would want to go back or probably charge a fee on top of the travel arrangements.

I don't mind TP or their style, but they don't offer as much coverage as I want. MAYBE I'll use them for the video, I'd want a video of my ceremony at the very least. ehh I'm rocking the boat lol! I like TP a lot. they did my engagement photos and the guy was sooo nice but again, they don't offer enough photos for my taste

They are technically a guest of the resort! I'm even in the process of possibly booking a photographer that a previous bride on here used without any problems back in May. I really don't understand what their problem is. Are you using TRivera's photographer? Heather did a great job on her wedding. You should have no problem

It is my understanding, from this forum and other brides who HAVE brought someone from the states or anywhere else, that as long as they are included as a guest of your wedding that there are no consequences. In my inquiry, I mentioned to HDC that I would have to speak the BBPD to verify their policy on external photographers. HDC replied back saying that BBPD does allow outside photographers but they charge a fee of $1000. This could be simply because they don't want to lose business from us, but even still, I was leaning more towards flying someone out from my local NYC area for a couple of days. She doesn't know what she's talking about. Your guest is YOUR GUEST. You can certainly bring someone from here. Don't even bother confirming that with her. Just do it!
  10. bc the fee isn't the option they offer. its the penalty if they find out you snuck in an outside vendor.
  11. yea the thing is the stress if bbpd decides not to let them on the property
  12. Idk...I've done my calculations...even paying the vendor fee HDC still comes out cheaper than using Tropical Pictures for photo and video....ehh we'll see. I just want someone familiar with the resort b/c I dont want to be giving anyone a tour of great locations to take my photos.
  13. So I think i will make the main choice chicken? and then the additional option steak?
  14. Ok so the chicken is $10 fish and steak $17....so i guess you have to pick the popular as to what you think everyone will eat. most people eat chicken or steak? b/c i love steak more

I cant freaking remember

So I'm going to desgin on vistaprint and just cut them round at home
  17. So Im not sure if they make the menus for you so I'm making my own. One thing is that a past bride told me. it is a choice between soup and salad. Either or, not both. What have you heard?
  18. if you are buying the original...you should try rkbridal.com

  20. I'm going with creme brulee also LOL. I joked about just feeding the guests wedding cake and eating all their creme brulee lol
  21. Don't want to be rude, I haven't been on BDW so often but welcome to all the new brides that have joined the BBPD team.

  23. its actually included in the tangerine package if I'm nit mistaken

I wouldn't trust anyone to do the video for me, so i might have to pay TP
