  2. i was concerned about "top shelf" liquor as well, since most people only drink shots, i don't think it was top shelf, but noone really cared, everyone took shots and got drunk either way. It wasn't horrible quality either. for the photobooth, they bring a lot of props and everyone had a blast dressing up. it was a whole box of of different things like glasses, hats, boas, plastic guitars love your pictures!! we almost went with gonzalo...looking at your pictures, now I am thinking that we should have!
  3. del sol is amazing but i think also one of the most expensive. depending on how many hours, i think costs are between 1-5k i think the price was good for cancun wedding video, they werent cheap, but i thought they were worth it! they were amazing leading up to the wedding day, on the wedding day, and after. i also loved their video! divine package has a photo package that is included in it, if you are getting an outside photographer on the wedding day, you can use the photo package to have your TTD shoot.
  4. we had cancun wedding video as well they were awesome! we also used the ceremony photo time for TTD.
  5. I just contacted the wedding coordinated at now jade and she mailed me the voucher.
  6. it has to be during the time you got married at now jade. you get a coupon (you have to ask them for it) and you give to your travel agent and you get a certain amount of nights off.
  7. We were thinking of doing a buffet on the side and wanted a few appetizers from there, and it ends up costing $48 plus 11% and 15% per each person for a private buffet and you choose from different buffet options. We just went with a plated dinner. You also need a minimum of 40-50 guests for buffet. we wanted to do that too, but then I read this thread http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/28257-releasing-butterflies/
  8. we gave her the menu choices when we arrived and that was fine
  9. they are very addicting!!! i haaated putting on mascara before, and one eye always looked better then the other, or i would put too much and it clumped. No more mascara for me!!!
  10. Hey, I started getting eyelash extensions about a month and half ago, it was for our wedding, but i am hooked! There is this great place in chicago- http://www.eyelashextensionschicago.net/ It is 135$ for a full set and $65 for fill. They have amazing reviews and are really good. I would be skeptical of the places that are that cheap-$59 for a full set, since mink eyelashes anywhere are $300. This place is usually $300 as well, but they have deals going on at times. Also, I had my eyelashes done for the wedding and I loved it. I jumped into pools, layed in the sun, went underwater, and they stayed on for the entore trip and two weeks afterwords before I went to get them filled.
  11. haha ya it's been crazy these past weeks but this weekend I will sit down and write one.
  12. We didn't use the photography that was included in Divine on our actual wedding, but we just used it for pictures another day, sort of like TTD. I think that is better then the $150 that they offer, since you get an hour session, and a photo album, and the pictures came out really nice. We loved them. Also, I wanted to do a hair trial instead of airport transafer and they didn't let me swap.
  13. They have a deal-4 hours at 250$ an hour or if you get less it's 350$ an hour.
  14. I would give as much time as you can to the spa...we had makeup and hair scheduled starting at 11am-3 girls and 4 people for makeup..we were there until almost 230! and then i had to rush getting ready because we were running late. We had three girls working on hair and makeup that day. It justy took a really long time. wedding day schedule- bridesmaids.xlsx
  15. you mean the colored lights, so the room lights up whatever color you want? They are $350
  16. That's what we did too. We got legally married here a couple of days before Mexico, and it was 5 seconds long. All we had to say was I DO. Felt more like paperwork then a wedding which was awesome since we wanted Mexico to be the real wedding day. I even joked and said "eventually" when the judge asked if I take him to be my husband(it's an inside joke between me and hubby, though the judge looked scared for a second lol)
  17. no paperwork is required to do a symbolic ceremony there. They don't even ask if you were married in the states or plan to get married.
  18. they didn't for us, we also had a carry on suitcase with us, but I would check with your carrier just to be sure so there are no surprises.
  19. I just carried mine in a garment bag and took up one of the overhead bins.
  20. haha!!! yes! I told one of the bridesmaid who was getting coffee to tell you congrats from me!!! lol So jealous you went for 11 days! 7 was def not enough!
  21. I also just got married last week. Deisy and Pilar took care of everything! they were amazing!!! I brought 3 suitcases full of wedding stuff and they managed to decorate and do exactly what I asked. They are very organize. I wish I can relive the day again. Will start working on a review shortly. here is a photo one of the guests took
