    Hi RIU palace brides! Our wedding isn't until May, but how did you decide which reception location? I was leaning towards baja norte, but now wondering about the beach and whichever outdoor restaurant is attached to that (Steakhouse patio). Still don't know how many guests we'll have so maybe that will be the deciding factor. What else do you have going on right now in terms of planning?

    Hi! We put our wedding website on ours as well. It just had the location, date, time and wedding website with "invitations to follow". If we had more room on the save the date I would have put a little phrase about our travel agent with her info but we didn't have room. I haven't heard any complaints about not being able to find the info so I think giving the website is fine.

    I made one on Shutterfly recently... They do have some templates in their wedding books that are similar... The pages I did: Wedding Mad Libs In 5 years from now.... (where do you see us?) We belong together because.... (tell us what you think!) There are a few other idea pages they have that are cute. I did a few repeats so people have options if one of those was already filled out. There are also options for standard pages where people can sign in between pics of you, etc. I will see if I can post some pics of mine

    I love seeing everyone's unique rings! Here is mine; It's simple and the plan is to have 2 matching diamond bands, one on each side.

    Hi Brooke! Congrats on your engagement! Very exciting times ahead... We are getting married in Cabo at the RIU Palace which is all inclusive. There is an entire Cabo thread in here and tripadvisor is also a good way to look at different resorts... Best of luck in your planning! Have you thought about potential wedding dates yet?

    Hey! We are getting married at the RIU Palace, Cabo. I have a friend who got married there as well and loved it...plenty of honest reviews on this site so just search for those As for the sunset cruises we are looking to do something similar through http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Sunrider-Dinner-Cruise.htm There are a few different companies and all have reviews on Tripadvisor so may be best to start there. Good luck!

    Hi there! I have actually been to Labadee before. I will see if I can find some pics to send to you... unfortunately we went on a cruise and all we did there was go ziplining (SO AWESOME!) and lay on the beach I remember tons of beach chairs but not sure about other kinds of chairs. The location is very pretty.

    Hi Samnthalily, we are getting married at the RIU Palace Cabo (right next to Santa Fe). It is also all inclusive with private options for both reception and wedding

    Hi Phoenix! Congrats on your wedding! Mine is May 11, 2013. I would confirm with RIU where exactly your wedding is because there are 2 Gazebos and I think maybe even 2 beach locations...Beach wedding sounds like it's actually on the beach b/c mine is under "San Jose Gazebo" which is not on the beach. As for the reception, I think there are a few different options depending on the size of your group. That part is still confusing to me, but I will email you the info I have!

    Hi Kristen, I was in a wedding recently where we ordered our bridesmaids dresses from there and they were great! Not expensive, true to size, etc. I have no idea about ordering a wedding dress, however. I thought about ordering my bridesmaids dresses from there but the no return policy made me a little too nervous. I guess you could alway sell it on ebay or on here if you don't want to keep it?     My uncle told me this weekend that he knew someone once who went to Mexico and somehow got really sick (drinking the water...) and since he already has a bad liver he probably won't chance it. Ummmm hello...don't drink the water then!? It actually just made me laugh... I'm sure there will be plenty more of these stories the closer we get to the wedding. Deep breaths.
