    I saw the chair options they had and I think I'm going to spring for the chivari charis as well. I wanted to put some decoration on the back of them but I won't do every chair. If I can get away with every other chair or even every three and it still looks nice then I will. But whatever I can pack in a suitcase and someone elses carry ons then that's what I'm taking. Hurricanes and candles add an elegant touch. They're little but they do so much. Are you renting your table cloths and napkins and traveling with them?

    Wow!!! Very nice! This is the level of sexy I need my TTD session to be. Our vow renewal is in Jamaica, but if it was in Mexico I would definitely check you all out! Great Work!!!!

    I'm am not traveling with a cake! LOL. I'm going to bring some decor but I wanted to possibly decorate the chairs. I dont want a vendor charging me a zillion dollars for a chiffon ribbon. I'll keep researching.

    What are you trying to do and what program are you using? I don't mind at all sharing my ideas. I created all of these in powerpoint. I have a version of photoshop but it's not the full version and I didn't have enough patience or knowledge about it so I decided to start with something I knew a little bit about. I will say once you start to play around in powerpoint its actually not hard to create a logo.

    Thank you!!! I have a little bit of time to plan and save. I've been at it a little over four months now and I still have 12 months to go. The one thing I wanted to allow for was to give my guest plenty of time to prep and save as well. There are a ton of hotels that have all sorts of wedding packages. I've never been to Jamaica and although it can get pricey, it's also very beautiful! I got some great options from my TA and I'll be happy to share with you if you like. It looks like your a ways out from your date as well so I'm sure you will find the perfect location. Happy planning!!!

    Thank you so much for your detailed review! It's very helpful. I'm going to try and bring as much as I can with me as well. I'm already compiling my play list for my ipod...LOL. I'm bringing my own chair and table decor. I'm in the process of trying to find a clever way to decorate the gazebo with items I can pack as well. I'm gonna keep it elegant/simple. As you said above, everything goes so fast that a lot of the small details us brides stress over often go unnoticed.

    Hey Ladies! Just wanted to let you know that if you're using a TA, let them know that Secrets is having a special for 2013. If you book by the end of 2012 you can receive a $200 resort credit and there is also a spa credit (I think $100). Just an FYI! Happy planning!

    I didn't think to do that. I wonder if they would??? Wouldn't hurt to ask tho! I asked the wedding coordinator at the resort and all she sent me was the two pictures from their website. LOL. I just wish the resorts' website was more informative. I'm sure the lack of info has discouraged people from using their resorts for weddings.

    That's the whole thing...it's only one or two threads and most of them are old. LOL!! I did reach out to a Memorial Day bride over there and she's going to email me some pictures!

    Hello all! I only found a few threads on Secrets St WO/SJ but most of them were started in 2010 and never updated with current info or pictures. I found one current thread for brides to be. I found two pictures on the net and neither were from the resorts website. Kinda weird that info on this resort is a lil hard to obtain. I was wondering if any bride married at WO or SJ could chime in about their experiences, share recent pics or give any tips about weddings at this resort???
