Congratulations!!!! I just got married at Leblanc on the 25th!!! We also got married on the beach! It was amazing. The best days of our lives. They did such an amazing job there. Was Paola your wedding planner?? She was fantastic. I'm waiting for our pictures and cannot wait to see them! Did you do a civil ceremony?

Hi! I recently got married in Mexico!! It was a civil ceremony and I have our marriage certificate. I live in Massachusetts ...do I need to bring my marriage certificate to our town hall or anything to make it known that I am married in Massachusetts ???

That bag is perfect!! and that is not expensive at all which is great. Thank you for the advice!!! Also, are you giving a bag to each person or one for the room?? I wish I could order the bags now but I can't because I don't know the exact amount of people who are going yet which kinda stinks. I have somewhat an idea, but not 100% positive on the exact amount. I sent out my Save the Dates in July and about to send my invitations next week..... I know of a few people outside of my family that have confirmed and already booked, but still have the people who are 50/50 right now. So, I won't know until March 15th which is the date I told everyone to let me know by. SO, I almost feel like there is not much I can do right at this point until I know the exact amount of people who are going! What are you ladies doing in regards to shoes if you are walking down the aisle on the beach? I am thinking that wearing heals is not the way to go because I dont want to be falling in the sand!! I don't mind wearing a nice sandle but for the rest of the night, I kinda wanted something more of a heal. I dont mind switching shoes however, I know that when they fit your dress for the last time, I need the shoe that I am going to be wearing....any suggestions on what you girls are doing? Thank you so much for sending me these pictures! Really really nicely done and a beautiful couple! I showed my fiance the TTD pictures and they are REALLY cool looking however, I dont know if I would want my dress to get wet because I want to be in my dress for the whole night. Is this something that you do right after the wedding, how does this work? The pictures look great though!! Also, I already booked my photos to be done through LeBlanc, so I do not think that they use Del Sol, correct? Would I have to pay extra to hire you? Just curious and want to make sure that I am making the right decision. Thank you so much for the well wishes!

Hello Ladies!! I have been checking out the Destination Website but haven't posted on the May 2013 thread just yet! So, I wanted to finally say hello and introduce myself because I am sure I will be having questions and asking for suggestions from you guys! My fiance and I are getting married on May 25th in Cancun Mexico at the LeBlanc Spa Resort!! I cannot believe that we are getting married in 4 months! We are so excited!! Have most of you sent out your actual invitations yet? I am planning on sending them out next week. I ordered the boarding pass invitations from Allurements by Rebecca and she did an awesome job! Also, I am trying to think of what I am going to put in my OOT bags as well and noticed you all have such great ideas. I am just nervous that I am going to have a ton of luggage that Ill have to bring on the plane, but I am sure that it will all work out! Hope you all have a great day and talk soon! Happy Planning!

I noticed that too. I was just going to use LeBlanc's photography packages but wanted to know if there was a reason most brides are using outside vendors? Have you heard bad things about LeBlanc's? Just want to know what the pro's and con's are. Let me know!! Also, for any brides that have already been married at LeBlanc- were there any dishes for the main course that you liked or did not like? The menu is huge to chose from and was curious if anyone had any ideas? Thank you!

Hi! I am happy to see this new forum!! We are getting married in May 2013! I have some ideas but would love to hear from brides that are planning currently or brides that have already gotten married at LeBlanc. I am planning on having the ceremony at 5pm on the beach (I chose the Signature Package) We are thinking we are going to have about 30 guests. Then planning on having an hour cocktail party afterwards. My wedding planner was saying that it is open bar with a choice of some apps which I still have to pick out. The reception I am thinking I want on roofdeck which seems to be fun! Does anyone have any suggestions on the food that you chose or are choosing? I was thinking doing plated seating and since we can't really taste the food before we get there, wasn't sure if anyone had any suggestions? I am thinking to keep it pretty simple but not too boring at the same time. The list of food is SO long, so it is overwhelming. I still need to pick out what DJ package and lighting we want. Also, does anyone have any suggestions on bringing their own decorations for the reception such as anything to put on the tables, etc? Or is that something that LeBlanc can do? I just don't know how much we can really bring on the plane. Thank you and can't wait to hear other brides ideas!

This is gorgeous!!! I LOVE the Tiffany Blue and think it looks great with the pink and white roses. Very very pretty!!! Do you mind me asking if they charge you a lot more to do this color? if so, how much did it cost extra? I can't wait to see your other pictures!!

I still have some time since our wedding isn't until next May but it is great to know that things went really well for you. Congratulations again! I just wanted some of your opinions. I am starting to get nervous of how much money it is going to cost for our guests. I know that it is our decision to have a destination wedding and of course i know that not everyone is going to make it which I totally understand and honestly wanted a smaller wedding...but I have heard from some close family members of ours that they are not even going to be able to go to the wedding due to the cost.... Another reason is that my cousin got engaged literally the same week I did and is having her wedding in Rome a month after me. So a lot of my family is feeling really stressed I think which is totally understandable. Did you find that any of your guests were upset about the money? I sent out our save the dates about a month ago so they would have a year to save. My fiance keeps telling me that it is what it is and this is what we wanted which is true. Did any of you feel bad about the money part? I guess I am just looking for some advice on how you may have handled it when a family member said they can't go or are going to look to stay at a diff hotel because this one is too expensive. From the reviews I've seen, I notice that it is all worth it because of how great of a hotel it is and that is why I chose to go with LeBlanc. It was exactly what I wanted and didn't want to just pick another hotel that was cheaper and it not be as nice for our wedding. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your input! You are right about being outside rather than inside for the reception. I appreciate your input! I am going to have our ceremony on the beach as well! I have read some reviews under LeBlac 2012 brides and I have heard that the gazebo is super small. I would rather have it on the beach anyway because it is a "beach wedding"! Right now I am waiting for a new wedding planner because the Miami office no longer has wedding planners there. Everything was transferred to Cancun. I still have some time since my wedding isn't until May 2013 so I am not stressing. Let me know how your pictures come out! I am thinking of using what the resort has to offer such as Del Sol as well as the DJ there to make it simple for me. Also, a few brides have been complaining about water issues. They just got back from their honeymoon and weddings at Leblanc and was saying there were buckets of water everywhere and the sheets were damp. I am not trying to read in to it too much. Did you have any issues with that at all though? Anyway, Congratulations on your wedding and it sounds like it was great!!

OH NO...that sounds HORRIBLE and I am so sorry you had to go through that....What about your actual wedding? Did everything go as planned, or did anything go wrong? since we already have our deposit down and paid for our room/room contract, etc we have no turning back, so it would be helpful if you could let me know a bit about your wedding if you don't mind!. What did you do for your ceremony? Gazebo or the beach or the garden? I am thinking we are going to have ours on the beach... Also, did you have a cocktail party? Where did you have that? where did you have your reception? Sorry for all the questions, I just would like to know what brides like the most as far as reception location, plated or buffett style? etc. Thank you for your help and I am sorry that happened and hope they can fix the water issue. That is a nightmare....
