  1. The post is from Venus909. I think you should be able to search by her username and find it. I loved them too and wrote this name down. Absolutely amazing! Good luck!
  2. Great question and thank you so much for asking. I would love to know the answer!
  3. Welcome Shaylaj! Yes, there is so much wonderful information on here, one person could be on here for hours and days! I am, as well, trying to confirm our wedding location as we currently live in MN and my fiance is originally from Dallas. What has really helped us narrow our options is really discussing what we are looking for in a wedding, what kind of vibe we want and places that we have been that have really made an impact on us. I think while many of the places in the Caribbean are beautiful and gorgeous - they all definitely have a different vibe. I'm sure one will be perfect for you and your fiance! I wish you all the best in planning and researching. Let us know when you confirm your spot!
  4. Congratulations on a successful wedding! It sounds like it was perfect in every way! I've always wanted to try the Poop Deck and after hearing positive reviews - I will definitely check it out. I am super jealous of the steal drums AND the junkaroo band! How amazing! Thanks for sharing!
  5. Congratulations! Where will your wedding be held at? It sounds like you have a lot of the main items in progress or almost done! I totally agree that the photographer will be worth it - but a good DJ/Music can really keep the party going and ensure your guests are having a fun time. But, it all depends on what you want to prioritize for your wedding. Good luck to you in all of your planning! I'm sure it will be wonderful!
  6. Welcome! I think you will love all of the boards here on this site - I definitely have! Check out the DIY section and the individuals' planning threads are really helpful to see what others are doing. I have learned so much! Good luck with your planning!
  7. Welcome moonsprite! I am a newer member as well and have found this website to be so helpful especially if you are looking to do any DIY items. Its also great to read peoples tips before and after the wedding. Panama City sounds wonderful! What made you choose that location? I am still possibly thinking about a FL wedding myself. Welcome and good luck!
  8. Venus - thank you so much for sharing. I love the additional creativity with the packaging that you did. Hope you had a wonderful wedding!
  9. Love the envelopes and how everything was packaged together. Also, love how the printing came out so professional and clean. I appreciate all the tips and advice!
  10. Great idea and I like all of the useful information in one spot! Thanks again for sharing - I think I will be doing something similar to this!
  11. Thank you so much for sharing and I can't wait to see what more you have planned and completed! Your talent and creativity is inspiring. Thanks also for bringing me back a bit with the Boone's farm. Oh memories.
  12. Loved the personalized letters. I am curious as far as the guest book and pictures - how did that turn out? Was it a hit? Thanks for sharing!
  13. Thanks for the link. I love the monogram that you have Houston. Its really different and unique from the other ones I have seen. Thanks again for sharing!
  14. These are absolutely gorgeous! I am curious about the font too - is this from dafont.com? That is the main website I am hearing people are using for fonts.
  15. Absolutely beautiful! Along with everyone else - I think the luggage tag RSVP cards are the cutest idea. Thank you so much for sharing!
  16. Congratulations on your planning! I think you are definitely on the right track and are knowing what you like/want and are limiting based on your criteria. I think you should think about what type of environment and theme you would like. Every island has its own character and personality - so find what fits you and your FI. While there are many other places- but have you thought of St. Thomas, Bermuda, Aruba or if you like the T&C - maybe other smaller islands similar like St. Kitts, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Johns? It might be a good idea to find a travel agent who you like and get along with and have the travel agent kind of do the leg work/searching for you. Then the agent can come back with results within your criteria for you to decide. I like that you are open to so many places including Central America - how exciting. Lastly, looking around this board for people who have had weddings all over might inspire ideas too. Good luck!
  17. Hi Stefeni - I would check out the cruise board and you will find many people who have done cruise weddings on Carnival. Good luck with your planning!
  18. Great idea on the Bubba Kegs! Are you planning on filling them with anything?? Hopefully someone has a site with some deals!
  19. I love your invites! Honestly, some of the best I have seen! One question, what did you include with the passport? It looks like something else is behind it and just curious what else you included. Thank you so much for sharing. Truly gorgeous!
  20. Wonderful job! I love the monogram with the key words around the outside! Very creative. Thank you so much for sharing!
  21. Congratulations on your engagement! I am currently in the planning stage as well and can definitely feel your sense of being overwhelmed. While I don't have my planning anywhere near complete - here is what has helped me so far! - Stay organized. Find a notebook, binder, etc to keep all your ideas or places/sites that you want to check out later - Use this site for information. Go through the planning threads and post wedding reviews to see what people liked and didn't. I did read a good review of a Key West wedding that looked wonderful! - Most wedding sites/books have a general timeframe with a suggestion of when things should be completed. Use this as a guide to focus on what needs to be done at that time. Thinking of having to do everything at once is overwhelming. - Enjoy the time! While there is a lot of stuff to see, decide, etc - keep the fun! I'm sure the other brides/brides to be will have additional information for you! Good Luck!
  22. Hi Hollysurly Welcome! I am a newer newbie myself and I have no doubt you are going to enjoy this site! In the short time I have been on, I have learned so much! What are your wedding plans? Where are you from? Congratulations!
